Again, I hope Triumph appreciates how good you make their bike look! Mr. Jones, you have much talent and a gracious manner of sharing it with your viewers! Motorrad- could learn much from your presentation! I’m a die hard F800 GSA’er, but you and Tim Collins at FTA adventure sure have me looking hard at Triumph… Thanks for capturing so much great footage! Safe Travels-
Well thank you, I’m sure they do or they wouldn’t allow me to test ride their bikes. I appreciate your kind comments and encouragement, I still have lots to learn but I’m having fun. Safe travels to you too!
Brilliant review Phil , stunning scenery and the scrambler is beautiful and that colour scheme really suits it, always great to get a solo run to clear the head ,sitting at the canal was perfect . Great to hear from the girl on the Ducati ,always great to meet other bikers when out a wee run .👍 Brilliant editing and camera work as per usual .Take it easy .👍
Ahhh man!!! Thanks so much for all your amazing compliments and support, I’m really pleased you enjoyed watching it. I hope to create more videos like this and hopefully go further and visit new places, let’s see how that goes. It’s a great bike isn’t it, I really had a fun time in it. Astrid is great, I really enjoyed meeting her and having an impromptu ice cream and photo shoot! I hope you’re doing well! 😁👍
Cracking review Phil , I really like the Triumph scrambler 1200 , although I think the 900 with the lower seat height would suit me better being a bit of a short a$$ lol
@@TheAdventuresofPhilJones Will do. That section with the bike parked next to the water channel with the boat was so charming, the photography of the area and bike (!) so lovely, that it alone may have pushed me off the fence.
@@pbofan I’m so pleased to hear your feedback about the canal, I was overthinking whether i should include it but decided just to show what I got up to, not everything has to be high speed and chatting while riding, right? 😊👍
@@TheAdventuresofPhilJones Absolutely. As an interested buyer, I'm already very familiar with the specs and the way it appears to handle on the road and (light) off-road, what it sounds like, etc...what I was hoping to find at this late point was sharp, crisp, vibrant video of the bike itself, to try and capture its look as close as possible to real life (my dealer is 90 minutes away and I haven't visited yet to see it in person), its appearance in various settings, that type of thing, and your video offered that in spades, so thank you.
@@pbofan I’m so happy to hear this, it is exactly what I needed to hear. TH-cam and social media is a funny place when you are battling with an algorithm, I want to enjoy creating honest videos and not produce them to please the algorithm just to get the big numbers. Don’t get me wrong, the big numbers would be great but getting feedback like this is extremely rewarding, thank you! 😁
Thank you, I’m pleased you enjoyed it. That canal is actually near my sisters neck of the woods which I visited when staying with her for a few days, it’s Tyle Mill Lock, Sulhamstead, Kennet & Avon Canal! 👍

Cracking video again Phil! I loved seeing Cheddar Gorge again haha and spotted all the Dutch plates in an instance! Lovely that the lady helped you
Thanks Leonoor! 😊 It was a lot busier when I visited for sure but I still had a great time and enjoyed meeting Astrid! 😁👍
That was a good-looking Ducati.
You’re biased, but I agree it is a very nice Monster! 😁👍
Now thats a nice looking bike , nice sound too it as well
The first time I rode this bike it reminded me of the old XT500, I’m sure you would agree! 😁

Thanks Dale, I really appreciate it. It’s a great bike, I haven’t ridden the Street Scrambler but I’m sure it’s still an awesome bike!
Look at the new scrambler 1200 x is much shorter than the xc
@@ryanosborn-ge3np Hopefully I’ll get the opportunity to review the new 1200 Scrambler in 2024 😁🤞
What apt timing. I’m deciding at this very moment if I’m picking this exact model-year and color up next week.
I hope this video has helped you make the decision, let me know what you decide! 😁👍

Hey Phil, how tall are you!?
5 Feet, 10.5 Inches =
179.07 Centimeters
Lets make a motorcycle video with silly music while riding so you cant hear the exhaust: check
@@Runner862 I’m pleased it ticked the box! 😁✅
this music should be banned from the universe, otherwise good review
I know it’s Linkin Park but budget wise it’s all I can afford right now! 🤪 I’m pleased you enjoyed the review! 😁👍
Great video Phil. I live local to Cheddar but didn’t recognise the canal, where was it you parked up the bike as I’d like to visit? 🚤
