Buddhism rocks and I am enjoying it. I would like to search for Bodhidharma's Indian village. I am a freelance researcher in Bihar in India where the Buddha moved around. I realize the Buddhist world failed to study and recognize Indian Buddhism in India. Buddhism in eastern UP and Bihar in India is alive and kicking. Sir, I have some good news. Day before yesterday I videographed the Vimalakirti's temple which marks the spot where he preached when he was sick, I videographed Kotigama where the Buddha would stay, I videographed Amrapali's property. Sir, she was stinking rich. She was the owner of ten sq km of land which she got through her profession. I videographed the place where her musicians lived, where she lived, where the Buddha's foster mother Maha Prajapati Gautami lived. And to top it all I videographed the exact spot where she attained Parinirvana. Locals pray to her as a village deity and they maintain the place where she died. It is a lovely temple with no statues or pictures of God. There were five tiny stupas on the spot she attained Parinirvana. I will be releasing the videos in my channel in a few days. If I can find Maha Prajapati Gautamies Parinirvana spot, I am confident I can find Bodhidharma of the Shaolin fame.
Listening to Shaolin is so calming & insightful. I've felt an inner loneliness since my childhood. I was raised in multiple foster care and settled in a children's orphanage. Today , I live alone with my cat's. Living alone causes a deep lonliness..yet at the same time I have become used to being away from the community and people...which thinking about it - I know that I need an Outlet . Thanks for sharing
Hi Jane, I'm the same way ten years in care no parents or friends I'm aged 30 now. I was in a dark place recently but getting out for walks along the beach daily for around 2 hours has renewed my focus/wanting to reintegrate with society be around people again I spent 2 years completely isolated time for change. It's been a week now. If you can find something similar i hope it helps I know first hand how hard the loneliness can be
Master Shi Heng Yis perspective gives 100% sense to me. I am also used to be alone. I am seldom lonely. The last ten years I have spent 90% of my adult time on my own. I have children, but that’s something else. When I walk in the mountains I never feel alone. In the nature I am connected and I gain energy to transform whatever comes to me. I actually prefer it.. being outside observing in solitude. I was told today by a stranger that he felt I instantly trusted him. I said: I have no reason to not. He made me a smoothie and it was lovely - mango, mint & ginger. He told me Mango is one his favourite fruits and in his opinion the worlds greatest fruit. I told him I do agree. Then I gave him som tips about jam, herbs and unusual combinations. We connected. Loneliness is a created condition and misunderstanding. It’s when you learn to accept yourself and are able to enjoy your own company you have the freedom to enjoy whatever you desire.

Within the symphony of human connections lies the timeless remedy to loneliness - the harmony of empathy, the crescendo of compassion, and the melody of genuine companionship orchestrating the beautiful cure. Thank you Master Shi Heng Yi, and Mulligan Brothers.
@@DJCsuccess101 Do you think that letters on our screen are doing a rendition of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 or tend to uphold the ability of a musical note? Last time I checked, those letters were as silent as a mime in a library. Hence, I aligned my thoughts - poetically and metaphorically - to describe the idea of finding solace in human connections through empathy, compassion, and genuine companionship. The term you used as an adjective reflects a lack of common sense. Well, if appreciation and mutual respect were flooding our society like a tidal wave of understanding, compassion, and kindness, the shores of our communities would shimmer with harmony and unwavering support for one another.
It is in the dark times that I make sense of my learning. The dark use to be a place that was hardest to think about the light. But it became the place where I could see the things that were affecting me the most. Like a message. It's hard to choose the things that you will leave to be and accept and those that teach you ways that you can change. It will pass. Carry what you learn forward. Thanks Shi Heng Yi.
The cure to loneliness is not to hit somebody else with a weapon, or compete for the strongest physique, the cure for loneliness is to know yourself, the one you are in essence.
I want to be alone with myself. Many people around me, even my closest one, say that i have changed a lot , that i have become antisocial. But they don't understand that for me being alone makes me closer to my self and to my true soul, it's not that i don't want to meet with people and spend some time with them , i just want some peace and quiet time with my self. Everything is a choice.🙏Thank you , shifu Shi Heng Yi for sharing this with all us🙏☯️
This is so amazing . there was a time I was sad cause I was alone, I cried. My life changed, and the universe opened up to me and aloud me to understand I'm not alone their are things that I must do must see must be in this life and this results in time alone. The more I am alone, the more I can see. This is deeper than anything I know, and it's not about loneliness. I am so happy to know I am not alone in this area of life. Master Shi Hang Yi, I resonate with all that you said. Peace and love and thank you. 🙏 🙏 🙏

🤗🙏 Alone and not lonely is a lovely place. And walking through the darkness alone is how we learn to turn our inner LIGHT of AWARENESS on. No one can do that for us it is our Super Power to learn to do for ourselves. Learn to embrace the darkness as our time to grow, just like the seedling pushing thru the soil into the Light. Who you Truly are will survive the not-self will fall away, yeah!!! 😂🧡✨

:)I never consider myself to be lonely. Why are we here, I can stay with my passions all my life to do things alone and from me . ( Piano or art and thinking about the world ) collecting lost pzules .
he talks about being alone, which we all need at times, and enjoy at times! Or the loneliness when you are alone while other are out playing or doing things! But there is another more devastating loneliness! A loneliness that most people can't comprehend ! it is the loneliness that seems to be a very dark place! When no matter how hard you try to be part (fit in) of a group (crowd), to you, you look around and to you no one cares, if your there are not! No one cares if your alive or dead! no one notices the emptiness, the pain in your heart and mind! the screaming in your head trying to yell out for someone to talk to you, anything to be noticed. A loneliness when you try to talk about it , most only say " get over it". A darkness that you have cried a million tears over! A loneliness that you have to battle yourself, no one to give a comforting hug like the comforting hug from a mother! no one to hear what is bothering you! someone to just hear your words! So many of us always have a smile on our face, even when the darkness takes over. So many people just walk by not even finding the time to just say "hello" as they pass bye! If more people when walking, just look at that lonely person and say a simple "hello" ! It does wonders for the lonely heart. that tiny "hello " can turn the darkness into a light that you can grab hold of as you try to pull out of the darkness within! The simple "hello" is telling your mind, some one dose care that you are alive.
Thanks for sharing. 🙏 Good explanation of the difference between loneliness by choice and loneliness by darkness period. Looking at people in a crowd is for me an excellent way to stay connected with humans; you can feel people without talking and you can transmit without words. A smile is one good example. It's regularly contagious 😉
I have to comment. From a layman's perspective. In case of folk visiting this page.... lost. In my experience and academically it has been demonstrated, that some souls are directed out to the world and some into there own being. I feel answers can be found in both places. Neither direction is a lost cause but both carry equal risks of mistaken ideals or actions. The true way to avoid loneliness is to avoid being the last word in a crowd or in meditation/prayer.
It's simple. The journey is inside, not outside. The peace is inside, not outside. If you cannot sit with yourself, you can do nothing. Ordinary people call it loneliness, realised souls call it companionship with the spirit, with your own spirit. That's why master is not able to explain what exactly the feeling is.
Probably 1 000 000 people wants to meet him at the moment. But as Master's own words, "I am not important, my teachings are". I recommend to simply dedicate time to practice these teachings, and to trust the process. It is also possible to visit the Shaolin Temple Europe for training at the summer camp.
Meditation. Watch or count your breath. When you notice your thoughts… let them go by like the clouds in the sky and get back to counting your breath. 2x s a day for 15 minutes or as possible. Blessings 💕🇨🇦

Well, i think most of people don t ask themselves ' Who am I....May i improve myself ?! ... sometime with people around you can feel alone because of nonsense and so so stupid style of Life...with " problems" that are not proplems .... So i can understand what Master Shifu try to transmit us.....
I would like to look for Bodhidharma's village and descendants in India. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.
Having a reminder that you will die !!! Isn’t really going to help anyone get better. That is ridiculous. A lot of people are already reminded they are going to die, maybe due to ill health or abusive relationships and life’s extreme stresses. What people need is to be reminded that their egocentric, greedy, selfish lives don’t really matter. They will lead life miserable for themselves and others.
That guy is not a real Shaolin master. He is in a temple in Otterberg and this temple is not acknowledged (anymore) by the real temple in China. The only temple in europe which is acknowledged is in Berlin-wilmersdorf (close to where i live). A friend of mine lives however in otterberg and he is band leader of a quite good metal band.
"Learn to be peaceful by yourself," is the message here. When you do, your perspective will shift and you'll see that there are others. The interdependency will have changed though, because you are now more peaceful by yourself. Easier said than done, surely, but nobody said it was easy. :)
His answer proved that the concept of loneliness by choice is key for him, and that there is a difference between loneliness by design and loneliness by dark times. As per other comments here, I also comprehend his description of solitude and loneliness. One feeds, the other is a challenge.
I'm totally confused, in one of you're videos you say to connect with people, and become part of a community. But now you are saying its better being alone??? 😂😂😂
I ALSO NEED MY SPACE. I LOVE MY LONELINESS. I ALSO LOVE PEOPLE COMPANY BUT IT WORKS IN ANOTHER WAY. WHENEVER YOU VISIT GREECE, IF YOU EVER.. , I D LOVE TO MEET YOU!!! STELLA G
Growing up at times being alone an bye my self use to bother me at times, But now I've learned that getting that time bye my self is when I've had some of my biggest breakthroughs 🤝🫡

😢
I’m going to die✌🏼
That guy is not a real Shaolin master. He is in a temple in Otterberg and this temple is not acknowledged (anymore) by the real temple in China. The only temple in europe which is acknowledged is in Berlin-wilmersdorf (close to where i live). A friend of mine lives however in otterberg and he is band leader of a quite good metal band.
If this a opinion or a fact?
Opinion.
If you feel lonely, is because you are in bad company. Control your thoughts and emotions and you'll be in good company with you 🙏
Did anyone actually talk about how to cure loneliness in this video?? I love Shi Heng Yi, but I absolutely hate misleading clickbait titles 😒
"Learn to be peaceful by yourself," is the message here. When you do, your perspective will shift and you'll see that there are others. The interdependency will have changed though, because you are now more peaceful by yourself. Easier said than done, surely, but nobody said it was easy. :)
Research this - he answered it profoundly.
His answer proved that the concept of loneliness by choice is key for him, and that there is a difference between loneliness by design and loneliness by dark times.
As per other comments here, I also comprehend his description of solitude and loneliness.
One feeds, the other is a challenge.
I like how people act like they can just be alone their whole life and be happy. It's not healthy. In personal experience.
