I had a colleague whod drink carrotjuice and stuff youd find in stores and her skin started becoming orange and she didnt know why untill smb pointed out that she drinks that juice every day lol

Excellent recipe, I was looking for one using raw veggies before frying. My mother in law, (Cantonese ancestry) used to make this Kau Yuk with pork belly and taro root or potatoes. She would fry the pork after preparing it, place the slices in a bowl alternating taro or potato with the slices of pork belly. After steaming she would flip it into another bowl and it formed a beautiful pattern and all the Kau Yuk sauce was on top, then garnished with Chinese parsley and green onions.I wish I had gotten her recipe before she passed. Have you ever made this? I l would love to get a recipe and see how it is made! Thanks for this funny and enjoyable video!

You can always freeze your fresh dumpling wrappers so they don’t go bad… my aunt does that!
