Well hun I thought you were brilliant. You were concise and clear in your instructions, and it was easy to see what you were actually doing.. Definitely one of the better You Tube videos I have watched. Thank you and I will be having a go at making the flowers..
This was great! I've been looking for a good tutorial for these for days. Finally stumbled upon your video. By far the best and most helpful. I also love your use of colors! Everyone does neon or pastel, but your golds and browns open a whole different store. Thanks so much!
Nice job! you are very clear and concise. I actually think its good that you speak slower so that everyone is able to follow. Your filming is done well. I've noticed alot of craft videos dont take into consideration how well things are viewed. Thanks for the video, dont listen to the idiots out there!
lizzy B THANK YOU so much (: I have always been very slow and soft spoken when I'm teaching someone I just like having someone else feel like they can learn as well. Thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate it so much (:
Also as seen on Pinterest. Thank you for this video! I wanted to know if this pin worked! Also btw I watch Threadbangers and they tested this too but used glue around the petals dried it and then put nailpolish.
Hi Cynthia, you have done a really good job of explaining how to make the flowers. Love this video : ) only thing i wasn't sure on was the wire gauge but i paused when it was in frame so all good. i have made several flowers, and was wondering if you did or can do a second coat of the nail polish? thanks again for sharing this wonderful tutorial. mandy
This is so creative and it looks beautiful when it's done. and I honestly don't think the battery pack is THAT big of a deal at the back. I'm sure you could easily cover it with maybe some hair or something.
Once comment and two quick questions. First I love this. It is so easy to follow and super neat! My two questions are : About how many flowers did you use for a headband? How much do you estimate it would be to make one headband?
Thanks you! and thanks for watching (: One headband really only needs about 25-30 (but only if you want it to look really full) and for cost I would say $20-25 USD or less depends if you have the tools already
Wow. I have to say I'm very impressed .. With ALLLLLLL of it. I mean the finished result in the dark with the lights on .. Wow! You're a very talented woman, I have not seen craftiness like this in a while .. You go girl & more power to ya ;) I'm definitely giving making a hair comb .. One day I'll make the crown when I can get all those supplies!! :)) Thanks so much for sharing :)
Really nice and helpful video. I made this crown yesterday and today together with a friend and it was funny (and a bit frustrating) and the finished hair crown looks amazing
A nice piece of work. If you start with clear nail polish it allows the wire to show through for added detail. It is easier if you start with the petals totally flat and reshape them after (depending on the number of layers it will stay flexible for a day or 3. If you coat them with 2 pack epoxy when they are completely dried (about a week) they become much more robust. Some of the works on display on my Google page are over a decade old and still intact.
Thank you for explain each step thoroughly. This helped me understand the process from beginning to end. This is the first time I've watched your video, do you offer more?
cyn1890 , maybe you could also put a portion of your hair over the battery pack, putting the crown at an angle in order to make it blend in a bit more right?
Great tutorial thank you very much! Just one question, do the hard nail polish parts not come off when they get some pressure from moving and using them?
I really love this with the lights but I would put like something over the battery pack so you aren't walking around with batteries strapped to the back of your head but I do really love this idea ♡♡♡
Hello! I liked your video and technique, but why not put your hair over the battery pack? Or try to hide it with some flowers? Or something that would blend it with the rest of the look? It's a good idea, but the batteries showing are a dealbreaker... Thanks for the flowers idea! I'll use it for sure!
Okay, so two months ago you told me you had j purchased some suplize for future videos...how far in the future do you think you'll be posting again, like I said in one of my last comments I really like your DIYs and am really really really looking forward to some of your knew ones😃
Beautiful! I want to make one of these, but it's a huge project so I might wait until I have some more time. The glue gun tip was good, I think it will be far less messy and faster than other glue. I also think a matching flower bangle could look nice :)
Have you ever had trouble with the nail polish part of the flower chipping or falling off? Or is it fairly strong? Great vid btw, your crowns are lovely.
this is really beautiful!! ^^ du you have a tutorial for how to ataach the flowers to bobby pins ?? ;) i really want to try and make bobby pins and hair clips with those flowers ^^
Great tutorial! Two questions though: What wire gauge are you using? And aren't these flowers terribly fragile? I keep thinking these would break easily. :o
Haha I saw his vid too, but I've tried it too, and I couldn't get it to work, even after almost an hour of trying. I just made a mess and wasted nail polish haha. Maybe it was just the kind of nail polishes I was using.
+Jessica Lyon I know this comments late but use tacky glue like u would the nail polish .. let it dry then paint over it with nail polish .. much easier!!
Realmente bonita, súper bonito! Una diadema muy linda! Las monjas de mi colegio nos enseñaron a hacer arboles con la misma técnica. Con imaginación se puede hacer de todo. Gracias por compartir. :)
You are amazing! I mean, I could never come up with making a nail polish flower crown l, let alone adding led lights! I'd never seen any of your videos until now, but I'm definitely going to watch more Ps you are gorgeous!
+Liz Fonseca haha I'm actually rarely in direct sunlight. My hands have always been like this since I've been a kid but they look more rough due to this past winter and my job. They're hands of a hard worker hahaha (:
Can you tell me the names of the light pink & light yellow nail polishes you used in this? If I'm guessing right, the light yellow is Unicorn right? :P
I watched Treadbanger's video of the nail polish flowers first, and while, since I'm not into making crafts and what not, I did love his video, these were one thing I DID actually want to try, and I think your way looks a lot easier then his, and I feel you explained it better. I had made mine going off his video, with a very slight change to it, and while they turned out okay I think I would've rathered done it this way. =P ALSO I love how we both bought have the same brand of nail polish for this, haha. xD
Hahaha i did 4 flower crowns its awesome and i used glue because i dropped a flower and It broke and the glue makes the flower more like elastic your videos are awesomee 2 😊👌🏻
Dont get me wrong this video was amazing but on ThreadBanger's video he used glue before the nail polish. If your having trouble you can obviously use glue that drys clear.
Try it with the glue technique. Some people have spread glue on it first and let it dry then the nail polish, maybe that technique will work best for you (:
This is so gorgeous! You are so patient to make so many flowers. The flower crown turned out so beautiful!
Well hun I thought you were brilliant. You were concise and clear in your instructions, and it was easy to see what you were actually doing.. Definitely one of the better You Tube videos I have watched. Thank you and I will be having a go at making the flowers..

Hellnogizmo thanks for leaving such a nice comment
Cynthia Lomeli I call em like I see em. I'm all about giving credit when it's due. :)
You could try this with glow in the dark polish, that could look awesome! Loved the video and DIY.
omgoosssh that is so smart! (:
+Katie Power I just checked out Treadbanger's video, it was pretty funny but our videos are pretty different
I saw that video before his it was so funny and u are so pretty
PuppyLover17 thank you (:
***** not to be one of those people but wrongly is not a word. The sentence should read as "you spelled tread wrong, as it should be thread" sorry
Grammar nazis!!
Tam Doan ok

How long did this take and haw many flowers did you make for the flower crown?
Also as seen on Pinterest. Thank you for this video! I wanted to know if this pin worked! Also btw I watch Threadbangers and they tested this too but used glue around the petals dried it and then put nailpolish.
yup, whichever technique works best for anyone (: thanks for watching !

Exactly, although I should have taken the time to hide it I was simply just too excited to just wear it. Thanks for watching (:
I am STUNNED. You made this look easy enough for me to try! :)
So cool!!! I never had money to buy fake flowers to make a flower crown. This is perfect!
Once comment and two quick questions.
First I love this. It is so easy to follow and super neat!

Thanks this was really helpful! I also really appreciate the fact that you respond to all of your comments. It really makes a difference.
This chick got time and patience
lol on my off days only
This is so pretty, I love all the detail you put into it!
Thank you for explaining the painting process better! The original pin on Pinterest left it very vague.
Wow. I have to say I'm very impressed .. With ALLLLLLL of it. I mean the finished result in the dark with the lights on .. Wow! Woah this is the most amazing DIY ive ever watch yet.
wow! haha thank you so much :D
These are really pretty would be cool for weddings. The battery pack could be painted with nail polish too I bet.
wao this is one of the most creative DIY ever seen, do more please. you got me subscribing to your channel. and you explain every step.
Thank you so much, I love these comments because they let me know my details are noticed. Thanks for subscribing (:

Ikr she does explain EVERY step sooooo clearly, Ik that makes the vidos longer but at least I accually know wayy I'm doing in the end😂
Maddy Kuehl its worth it though.
Yeah omg ikr
this video was the best one i´ve watched explaining this magic nail polish flower thing! really nice!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed (:
This is beautiful. It looks like something you'd buy at a high end store. Great job!!
Thank you amazing compliment (:

Neville Thomas very nice tips you suggested, thanks for sharing (:
Thank you for explain each step thoroughly. This helped me understand the process from beginning to end. This is the first time I've watched your video, do you offer more?
so pretty.!!how many flower did you make??
That is so beautiful, how could you come up with that.
cyn1890 , maybe you could also put a portion of your hair over the battery pack, putting the crown at an angle in order to make it blend in a bit more right?
pandaislander29 absouletly, the 2nd time around I did just that and looked way better. Thanks for sharing a suggestion (:
well thank you for making a wonderful video :)
I am a D.I.Y junkie and by far this is the most awesome yet. Ty
Thank you so much (:
This so deserves credit awesome work
About how many flowers did it take to make the crown? Great video by the way. Very cute video, so pretty
I would say a good 30-35 is more than enough per crown
wow really great tutorial. love the leds they look soo good in the dark x
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed (:
i was wondering how many flowers You used on the crown, I just dont want to waste my time making too many
Great tutorial thank you very much! Just one question, do the hard nail polish parts not come off when they get some pressure from moving and using them?
no, they get somewhat flexible like plastic. I have accidentally dropped and tossed and none have broken or ripped (:
I really love this with the lights but I would put like something over the battery pack so you aren't walking around with batteries strapped to the back of your head but I do really love this idea ♡♡♡
Hello! I liked your video and technique, but why not put your hair over the battery pack? Or try to hide it with some flowers? Or something that would blend it with the rest of the look? It's a good idea, but the batteries showing are a dealbreaker... Thanks for the flowers idea! I'll use it for sure!
These are lovely! Have you thought about selling these? (If you don't already.)
Your voice is so soothing and perfect for this video, nice job at explaining: ), i am so gonna give this a try.
Thank you so much, you're very nice (: Thanks for watching!
hi i love this tutorial :) i'm in the middle of creating mine and was wondering what size of rhinestones you use.
thanks
truthfully I used all sizes, I don't remember exact size but I got a variety of small medium and large (:
I so love this DIY! The process looks lengthy and not so easy, but the results are worth it! Thanks!
Do u have to be delicate? When it's dry bc it looks very fragile
Okay, so two months ago you told me you had j purchased some suplize for future videos...how far in the future do you think you'll be posting again, like I said in one of my last comments I really like your DIYs and am really really really looking forward to some of your knew ones😃
i have been making these lately. what do you do to harden them up so the petals dont peirce eachother on the headband....
Beautiful! I want to make one of these, but it's a huge project so I might wait until I have some more time. The glue gun tip was good, I think it will be far less messy and faster than other glue. I also think a matching flower bangle could look nice :)
Creating a bangle would be great, thanks for watching :D
Have you ever had trouble with the nail polish part of the flower chipping or falling off? Or is it fairly strong?
Great vid btw, your crowns are lovely.
I had made over 100 and had less than 5 chip, they have fallen often and never break on me so I would consider them fairly strong (:
Could you give advice as to brands? I have tried 5 and none have formed to bubble for the petal.
I have use sinful colors and sally hansen nail polish
Maddy Morgan try watching man vs pin he does this tutorial but uses glue and then paints over it! (:
This is so cute! A lot of work but really really cute!
Thank you, and yes it does take time to complete but end product is awesome (:
this is really beautiful!! ^^ du you have a tutorial for how to ataach the flowers to bobby pins ?? ;) i really want to try and make bobby pins and hair clips with those flowers ^^
I simply added hot glue to the round end part of the bobby pin and pressed the flower and held it in place for a few seconds
I've tried so many versions of this one including glue(the nail polish ate up the glue) but this tutorial was the most helpful tysm
Great tutorial! Two questions though: What wire gauge are you using? And aren't these flowers terribly fragile? I keep thinking these would break easily. :o
I used 24G Beading wire, and surprisingly they are very durable if you allow them to dry properly I made about 90ish and only 2 cracked on me
Your diy's are really cool and easy to understand
OH MY G OD. that is SO pretty and such a beautiful work!!
Thank you so much! :D
Beautiful, what size beading wire did you use, was it 22 gauge, 16 or 16? i have all the different sizes... thanks
I believe I used the 16g
These are awesome! Do you sell any on etsy? I'd buy one for sure! Even the little flower Combs S are cute!
No, i dont have an etsy account :/
Thank you so much for showing how to do this. I found these flowers on Pinterest... your video is by far the best one I have seen. Thank you :-)
Some one call thread banger and tell them it's completely possible to make nail polish flowers with just nail polish
Ikr I thought of him and laughed
Haha I saw his vid too, but I've tried it too, and I couldn't get it to work, even after almost an hour of trying. I just made a mess and wasted nail polish haha. Maybe it was just the kind of nail polishes I was using.
+Jessica Lyon I know this comments late but use tacky glue like u would the nail polish .. let it dry then paint over it with nail polish .. much easier!!
RainBow~RockStar That's ok- that's a really great idea! I'll have to try that!! =D
cyn1890 I love your diys your so creative, you should make some diys for back to school. Love your videos!!!
That's a good idea I'll try to see if I can brain storm any (:
Realmente bonita, súper bonito! Una diadema muy linda! Las monjas de mi colegio nos enseñaron a hacer arboles con la misma técnica. Con imaginación se puede hacer de todo. Gracias por compartir. :)
انا حاولت كتير اعمل العمل الفني الجميل لكن مانفع اشكر مجهودكم الجميل
Love this idea... thank you. I am a milliner and I am keen to test out in a bridal headpiece!
wow, that would look great as a bridal piece hope it works out (:
You are amazing! I mean, I could never come up with making a nail polish flower crown l, let alone adding led lights! I'd never seen any of your videos until now, but I'm definitely going to watch more
Ps you are gorgeous!
I saw an image on pinterest and took it as inspiration (: Thank you for watching
+Liz Fonseca haha I'm actually rarely in direct sunlight. My hands have always been like this since I've been a kid but they look more rough due to this past winter and my job. They're hands of a hard worker hahaha (:
Wow, this is just so pretty and neat and amazing :)
Also, since this obviously takes long, I admire your patience and dedication
Thank you so much, I have a lot of patience and sincerely enjoy just playing with crafts. Thanks for watching (:
so cool! do you sell these? there's so much effort would it be even worth the money?
No, I don't sell them but I'm often asked lol (:
Hey, May I ask what camera you are using? I'm thinking of starting my own channel and am looking for a camera. thank you! 💜
I loved both of them! Do you know how much time did it take to make??? :)
Lydia Tutorials about 3 days (one day for the wiring, 2nd day for the nailpolish, 3rd day assembling)
Thanks!
You are a very good and patient teacher!
Very nice techniques in this tutorial. Thanks for posting this awesome video!
ThreadBanger
- she managed to do the nail polish flower trick 😂
love this...how long did it take to make?
a day to make 100+ flowers
Wow, that's amazing! How long did it take you to make this?
Thank you and a good 2 days
What is the song you used in the video as backround music? Also, where do you find your music?
How long did all the flowers take, i dont have a lot of time but i want to make one for a wedding.
a days worth and overnight to let them dry
Thank you but how long did it take to bend all the wire and finally finish it?
Wow! This is absolutely beautiful. Good for you. I don't think I'd have the patience to do this one, lol.
I have lots of patience I've been told lol
Where have you been?!
Can you tell me the names of the light pink & light yellow nail polishes you used in this? If I'm guessing right, the light yellow is Unicorn right? :P
You sure know your polishes, the light yellow is "Unicorn" and the light pink is "Beautiful Girl" (:
cyn1890
Lol. I have a slight nail polish addiction. :P & I have Unicorn so I totally recognized it. Thank you for responding! (:
That was amazing! I'll try this at home and suggest this to some of my friends! It looks so pretty! Great job!!!! :)
What happens if you touch crazy glue?
it stays on your fingers for awhile and if you touch a lot of it it can burn and irritate your skin
Ok well I'm not buying crazy glue now :p
How many flowers do we need
It looks so flippen PRETTY!!
how long did it take you? how many flowers did you make?
I made a little over 100 because I made more than 1 crown and it took me about a whole day
I watched Treadbanger's video of the nail polish flowers first, and while, since I'm not into making crafts and what not, I did love his video, these were one thing I DID actually want to try, and I think your way looks a lot easier then his, and I feel you explained it better. I had made mine going off his video, with a very slight change to it, and while they turned out okay I think I would've rathered done it this way. =P ALSO I love how we both bought have the same brand of nail polish for this, haha. xD
haha that is awesome, some have found it easier to use glue so simply experiment with it. Find what's best for you (: Thanks for watching
Hahaha i did 4 flower crowns its awesome and i used glue because i dropped a flower and It broke and the glue makes the flower more like elastic your videos are awesomee 2 😊👌🏻
So pretty I couldn't do that in a million years!!
were do you get all of those and were do you live
I wonder if there is a way to hide the battery pack. :)
try making a big lace bow or just opting out the lights
P.S. What size beading wire?
does the the nail polish on the petal crack or fall out (if you know what i mean) after a while
I've dropped it a lot of times and only had 1 crack on me
cyn1890
ok thanks so much
This video was awesome. Such a creative idea, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching (:
hey I think my leaves are a little big and it's really hard to paint the pedals :/ any tips? I'm trying to make this for my gf for christmas
If you mean that the nail polish won't make a " film " around the wire try using tacky glue first or semi setting some glue.😀
Hey do you have angel policy for small sales?
You made it beautifully, you should be so proud
New subscriber! Love ur diys so much!!!!!! My name is Lucy from now on i will be supporting ur vids!
Hello Lucy, Thank you so much for your support. So lovely (:
omgg i love this creation so mutchh!!! 😍😍😍😍
can we use coper wire
Dont get me wrong this video was amazing but on ThreadBanger's video he used glue before the nail polish. If your having trouble you can obviously use glue that drys clear.
Exactly, if you manage to get them done without glue awesome or if you are struggling just use glue. Whichever works best
Do you know how much it costed?
Wow, gorgeous!!! I might try to make these sometime!
Thanks for watching (:
Mine doesn't work! At first it covered nicely but then the film of polish just pops and my polish drips off
use a better quality nail polish. :)
How many flowers did you have to make??
this one was around 30-35
This was a very pretty but I have try to make it alot of times and I can't get the nail polish part right
Try it with the glue technique. Some people have spread glue on it first and let it dry then the nail polish, maybe that technique will work best for you (:
Thank u
So beautiful and cool! Nice tutorial i really love it!! Got a new subscriber
Thanks so much for subscribing (:
