DIY ring holder tutorial here: • Revamp Old Tee Shirts!...
Stuff in video:
Bezel ring bases from amazon and ebay
mod podge dimensional magic
your own nail polishes will work fine but make sure they are completely dry before you lay down the glue! hehe
FTC: this is not sponsored at all =)
thanks for watching =D let me know if you like these kinds of DIY vids
another way u can do this is buy the base thing and then buy the see through bubble top MAKE SURE IT FITS and paint with nail polish on the bottom of it then if you want dots paint the on 1st then the base colour behind it :) if u do it please make a video
I love this DIY
I loved the happy face but I really liked the. Rest
I liked the glitter one the best!
I loved it and my favorite one was the lined one with all the colors
TIP: to make the colors not bleed, put a layer of clear nail polish on the picture and let dry before applying the glue!
Clear tape works well, too. However, I keep getting a blue outer edge on some of my rings. I have no idea how to get rid of that, as it appears to be from the glue. I might try the clear nail polish over the outer edge and try it again.
You're probably getting the outer blue line because the tape isn't covering up the edges all the way.
KandiKitty7 No, I figured it out. It wasn't the picture that was turning blue, because when I took the glue off, the completely laminated pictures were fine. The blue was in the glue, which was reacting with the metal on the ring. I put some clear nail polish around the inside border of the ring and put some more Mod Podge on, and it was fine.
***** I glad you found out your problem.
I was think about that, thank you! now I know that does work :)
"I did a skull smoking a cigarette, probably why he's a skull" hahaha Andrea cracks me up
It cracked me up too hahahahaha
Queen of DIY… SHE SLAYS AGAIN. YES.
Since you can build on this....was thinking....if you do a low layer of glue....and then you could drop a flat, tiny, loose "charm" on and layer the glue again to give the charm a 3-d-like suspended look. I have to try this with my granddaughters. Thanks for sharing!
I am going to try having a suspended charm on the ring.
Woah you're one cool grandma! 😂😂😂
Cute! That's a really fun idea :)
I absolutely LOVED the glitter ring. It's like a little galaxy on your finger ^_^
These are so super cute!!
omg these are soooo cute!!
very creative babe! Mish you so muchiee!
Andrea I love this video! I am not crafty at all, but you present us with some cool unique, inexpensive and easy crafts that I believe I can actually do. Thanks for that, and I loved all the rings, but if I had to pick 1 favorite it would be the nail polish swirls, with the glitter.
Super creative, and for some reason it seems so old-school 90's. LOVE it ❤
I LOVEE the nail polish with the glitter one its beautiful
Instead of Mod Podge glue..you can use clear nail polish. :)
thanks!!!!!
thank you:) did anyone try it?
Thanks!!! I'll try
You could, but then it wouldn't look as cool. I like the domed "glass" looking effect.
But the clear nail polish would dry flat, and like TheDaisykisses said you won't have the dome translucent finish.
I buy the Dimensional Magic at Joann's for $5 and they always have coupons; and Amazon. There are some tricks too.
Always keep a needle and tissue handy to pop any bubbles; I found that for pendants, bubbles would pop up 20-30 minutes after filling with glue. Running the needle through the glue right after you apply it helps with little bubbles.
Also, bleeding happens with print outs, especially reds. I found that using clear nail polish stops the bleeding, and uses up old polishes. Apply to the back edges (only part of the back you should coat!), and a thin coat to the front, allow to fully dry, and then a second slightly thicker layer to the front. Use a light hand like you would if doing a topcoat over nail art. Use a glue stick to affix the picture to the area. The second coat of polish can come before or after being glued. Just make sure to let everything dry in between before adding Magic. This has fixed my bleeding completely.
reminded me of late 90's/early 2000's for some reason. Feel nostalgic looking at those designs. Anyone else?
definitely gonna try this out the rings look so cool
So cute, you can even do this n cleaned out bottle caps if you don't have the rings!!
My favourite was the leopard print and the glittery nail varnish ring! Love the emoji ring too! Going to try this myself!
"That's probably why he's a skull." lol You are hilarious.
I love the leopard face one. That's my fav :)
"I did a skull smoking a cigarette... That's probably why he's a skull..." 😂😂😂 best quote ever
i like the one with blue with a black heart in the center
Laura AHernandez that is so funny and it makes sense》》》》》》》
I really like the galaxy ring! Amazing
Wow....one of the best DIY ever....that leopard ring
This has to be the cutest thing I have ever seen on youtube
You know what's funny is that a lot of TH-camrs do DIY jewelry or DIY makeup yet they continue to buy jewelry and makeup and they don't end up wearing the things they make.
So, stupid question. Can it melt if it's in heat? Like if you were to accidentally leave it in the car during the summer, would it make a mess?
it would probably get a bit soft but i dout it will melt though and make a mess
"I have a skull smoking a cigarette.. thats probably why he's a skull.."
oml i died
PLEASE make more diys like this! I really enjoyed it! My favorite one was the sparkly Galaxy looking one.
Andrea!! I thought you might like the video I uploaded because its a DIY video about making lipsticks out of CRAYONS. I know right? It sounds crazy but it really works and I just thought you would like it considering you LOVE lipstick and you are the queen of diy so you might really enjoy doing it! Please thumbs this up so she can see it!!
If you can't find those ring bases with the border, you can also use hot glue, which will not flatten as it dries, and won't spill over. :)
They are perfect!!
Andrea
I was younger when I first saw this video and now at 24 I came back to it because I remembered the DIY 😭🩷 love you queen come back any time 🧚♂️💌♾️
That blush tho
Amen
Lol
I really LOVE your videos and this one is just amazing! Btw you can also put little stones onto the glue while it dries. It looks really pretty :D
Keep on going with your video they are awesome ♡
Well, I'm not too keen on the rings that are clearly cheap, but I'd do that with pendant settings though if they have blank pendant settings like the blank rings you have there.
I LOVE THE SPARKLING GEM EFFECT. VERY PRETTY WORK
AndreasChoice Now we need to go buy some jewelry storage for all the rings we'll have!
"I did a skull...smoking a cigarette...that's probly why he's a skull" LOL!! I laughed way too hard when u heard that...

Where can you buy the glue?
The craft store, like Michael's for instance. Mod podge will be with all the rest of the glue. Anything that acts as a gooey glaze will work. :3
You can buy elmers glue or modpodge... elmers glue is from 50c to $1 in the us.

Oh my shush this is my favourite DIY ever especially cuz I've been wanting to start wearing rings for a while n this is the perfect inspiration thankssss
Andrea, it would be cool if you did this in an old metal bottle cap from a pop bottle and then glued that to a plain ring or even to a magnet!
Now I know what to make as gifts for my friends! Thanks for sharing they are so cool...i like the glitter one the best
I like the galaxy/ sparkle nail polish!

I love your video. My favorite ring is the rectangular one. I am not fond of a round ring too much, it's a very popular shape, that makes it boring to me. Thanks for posting this.
