    I think REDCAT are definitely a contender if they can up their parts support game 💯.

      You should check out the Redcat page - they have all the parts in stock for this car...and they are CHEAP

    Totally agree with you the steering angle and alignment can have quite an impact on drivability. I remembered to use your amain link ordering some setup tools. I've been using the basic camber and toe tools so far but wanted to try an actual setup station. Thanks for all your helpful videos, it's make the rc drift scene more accessible (at least for me) 👍

    Great tips. That’s great that they put those adjustments into the gyro. I’d imagine that a lot of rtr’s don’t have that feature.

    I bought the RDS Kit. Pretty excited about the attention to detail from Redcat on the RDS. BUT --- I didn't want to buy another rtr electronics package. Wanted to ask you what electrics would you recommend to run on the RDS Kit? Radio/rcvr is going to be Futaba but, I'm very interested in the rest of the electric components you'd recommend. /// Enjoyed the video on tips before you run the RDS! Well done.

    axle and axle stubs are likely cut with 1/2 to 1 too many threads to the shoulder at the end of the thread... a washer between the hex and wheel may help this.

    Hi, I've been watching (subscribed) your videos on drifting and was wondering what your opinion was on running a non-sensored brushless system in a D5 (mid motor). Specifically a 60a 4370kv system (inexpensive). Thank you

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly - instead of going that route, I would rather run a brushed setup. It would have more control than a cheap brushless setup.
      Either that, or just keep saving a little more money until you can go sensored.

    I want to buy another set of wheels and drift tires for my RDS, and I need a piece of information. Can you please tell me what wheel offset is recommended for the RDS?

    • @tandemrc73
      @tandemrc73 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stock wheels are a 6 offset and would recommend not going under 6 for maximum angle.

    Kinda like it but also not the rear of this car is pretty high due of the moter mounted in the back i did look at product page that the engine can be moved around. How ever i see redcat also has lowrider bodys but i see none of them drift around corners (i mean wouldnt that be funny?) not seen these RC drift cars in the EU i believe. (i could be wrong) but its nice looking things up. i have seen people put different bodys on this RDS chassis on youtube. (but the basic body it comes with i find it ugly and bulky).

      @@RoadsideRC np rc stuf is a bit of hobby i watched from the sideline for now i have a ather thing costing me money how ever i want combine that hobby maybe with RC things. + i think it would be funny to see a old style lowrider body drive around on a drift chassis. but im not that much into the hobby for me its mainly a money issue --- so far ive kept looking for a job and had a lot of drama or very little days of paid work. so its a bit hard to pay for a RC hobby in this situation. Stil the ones i remember as a kid where not this cool and more advance i will say you that. I do hope i find a new job in the future but its been rough + i live on handicap stuf if they find out they sometimes can fire me on spot or i cant do serten work. or people act like im totaly retarded or they want me to take a lot of risk in job that can ruin me for life for barely a pay i can live on. Sad thing about this i have serten skills but i cant seem land a proper job. and the ather issue sometimes i get paid to little to make it worth my time in my private situation to acctuly wake up and work for that job. Im always inbetween stuf stuck in a loop i try to break. Atleast thats feeling im getting.

    I got my hands on an RDS and I’m not happy with the steering system. The whole assembly is held by the screw that goes into the servo spine which is upside down. The whole assembly is very flimsy and makes the car inconsistent. Any thoughts?

    • @RoadsideRC
