It’s a id3 with a little playful or sporty sauce on it but without the trusting German logo and the serious karakter. . This was also with the Golf and the Polo. The Leon was the playful less serious Golf and the ibiza was the same for the Polo. That’s why i bought a brand new ibiza instead of a polo before. 1 it was cheaper. 2. It looked more fun but nowadays on were i stand now in life. I think i would go for the id3. I really like the id3

Definitely more striking in it's style. A question about the Enyaq in that I can't find if you have tested both with and without the heat pump as I'm considering ordering late next year for 2023. Wanted to know whether it's worth investing in the heat pump as it's roughly €1200 option here in Ireland. Anyway hope to see you night testing the Cupra to see what the lights are like.

5:20 according to german law, what your doing with the screen is the same as using a smartphone while driving. the autobahn range is a thing tho and thats whats keeping me from going electric, especially, when youre looking for a compact electric car and not something the size of an audi a6. i would something, that can reach almost 400km, during any weather, while driving 130kmh, but thats where you reduce the possible cars down to a handfull. when i take a 3 hour trip on the weekend, iam not willing to increase that to 4 hours, just to reload and go on, thats less time i can spend on arrival and times, that i will never get back.

Likewise my 2017 BMW i3 has a 32kwh battery but can get 155km at these kind of temperatures - which is 72% of this Cupra's range - but with 57% of this car's battery.

This range is pretty awful - one of the worst I have seen. My Tesla model 3LR does 350miles in summer ~250miles in winter. I drove it more than thousand miles over 3 days around wilderness areas of Scotland with no issues during summer 2021 with only 3 stops to charge (about 20 minutes or 40minute each time) . You might have trim expectations in wintertime though

Didn't VW refund part of the heat pump price because it never reached the promised energy savings?

      Yes they did.

@@BatteryLife Thank you. It would be interesting to get some data from a large number of ID.3 drivers on whether the heat pump made any relevant difference at all...

The car looks nice, but these electric cars are crap, 200 km of range makes it completely useless for travel, my old car with more than 20 years old gas ice had 700 km of range, and add 40000 euros or more for an ev, its a waste

Saliste con un 93%, no 100%. De todas formas, 200km a 130km/h me parece una vergüenza. 40.000€ por eso... Demasiado dinero.

@@redhotchilibitch I get approx 380km in my long range under similar temperature and speeds
      The usable capacity of SR+ is 52.5 kWh vs approx 70kwh in LR - so I would assume about =380 * (52.5/70) = 285km.

Same result like in other tests:
VW Heatpump is useless or even bad for consumption.
How embarrassing to sell such crap to customers!!!
    VW/Skoda/... should be ashamed.
