My favorite stack is Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax topped with the Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax. The former increases gloss and produces insane reflection, the latter provides long lasting protection.
Hmm... I have both in my cabinet. Might have to give that a try. Used the ultimate wax by itself last year and was underwhelmed with the durability. Thanks for the tip.

I agree, meguiars for availability, price, ease of use. When I run out of something, i know i can run to the store and grab a product I'm familiar with and know how to use. Good video, B.
Very Nice of You to Test those products together and to make Someone Happy with Winning combo! this is great for personal cars or friends, cause there is a lot of cure time involved between the products! Awesome Results none the less! Way to Go Brian!
Pretty cool combo, really took a beating. I'm not on Instagram but I just ordered a bunch of product so this is better served for someone who really needs it. Keep up the great content!!
It would have been interesting to replace meguiar's hybrid ceramic detailer with the pro version meguiar's pro hybrid ceramic bead booster M799. To see if we could gain some more resistance.!
I think your doing a thoughtful and great thing giving away product. I hope it gets to a home thats appreciatedl. Stay safe friend! I really enjoy your videos.
Thanks Brian! I have no bias towards retail products, I hate that. I will use and support anything that works for me, but I'm pretty set in my ways when it comes to protection, so these aren't really products I would normally buy or have occasion to use professionally, so it's fun to get to see them in action vicariously through you. 😁 👍👌✌
I would love to win that package, but I haven't missed a day of my day job in all this mess. I would love to see someone who really wouldn't be able to justify that expenses get it. What a wonderful thing for you to do Brian 👍❤️
I love seeing the boutique products but it's nice to see such quality products (along with Turtle Wax) available OTC. How about an OTC battle for each product category? Tire shines, spray waxes, liquid waxes, etc.
Thanks for giving some of those products to viewers, Brian. I will pass on the offer as I'm fortunate to still have a job and can afford to buy stuff for my car. Let those that are in more financial needs have higher chances of winning this.
I have been doing this similar thing except instead of the m27 sealant I put on the Ultimate paste wax first then the liquid ceramic wax and in between washes i use the ceramic detailer and it seemed to work good for me too.
Awesome video.. just in time too. I have color correction this weekend and this stack will help this type of customer. Wish the give away wasn’t just for Instagram users. I only use TH-cam. Thanks for the video
Another great video thank you for the stacking idea. As having most of them products I will not throw my hat in this time I wish good luck to all who enter. 👍🏻🏒🇨🇦
Thanks for this test. I do "stack" Meguiar's wax and detailer for years and now I'm o to the Hybrid Ceramic duo, but NOT the wet wash. Don't see a need for it. I have a 2019 MAZDA CX-5 GT Reserve 2.5 turbo in "Soul Crystal Red" which is a VERY deep, beautiful red, actually the best I've seen outside of a hot rod cruise -in.
Really like these stacking videos. Doesn’t matter which brand or which type of protection, it’s always good to get some knowledge on what works. Thanks 🍻
Great video I use Maguire for all my projects at home. I was thinking about stacking a hybrid coat on top of my wax job but not sure if it would work. I might try it and give my feed back.
REVIEW~ Just did my custom 6” lifted Jeep 4 door which is NOT easy lol...been detailing for over 30 years...used it all!!! I have all 3 of these products. The spray ceramic first....hate the application process as car is wet! Think it’s just too hard to keep both dry and massage it in evenly. I think it’s simply a gimmick...the actual si02 in it is great tho!! The detailer is excellent!!!!!! In fact best of the 3 and really adds a coat of protection. Could be used as a stand alone. I used the liquid on an area and I prefer that app method. Also think you get better control over evenness u like the spray where I felt you didn’t know if it was even or not till you were done and then you have to correct it. Just feel rushed using the spray. I am looking forward to using it tho in the future washes as now you just rinse it off instead of the towel massage/dry method needed in first app. But yea, I love the detailer best!! Really feels and can see really adding a solid layer of protection of it unlike reg detailers
Awesome video like always ,truly a hard working and heart felt individual. Thanks for always making great content and reaching out to individuals. Your knowledge and experience is a blessing to all who watch.
I didn't put a comment in your Instagram. I have been fortunate enough to be working. Hopefully someone that needs it receives the products. I did follow you as Norcal Spit Shine. love your videos.
ANother great informative video. I thought it was funny that youtube put a turtle wax commercial in on this Meguiars test :) Ihope who ever wins the package is someone who can really use it hopefully someone who is not working and could use a little bright spot in there day. Thank you Brian for all you do. You are a good person.
Love that you do these giveaways. Only reason I don't enter is because I would feel guilty taking that from someone who may benefit more than me, otherwise your giveaways are the only ones I don't get annoyed by hearing lol. Keep it up man!
I have always used Nu Finish car polish on my Nissan cars since 2001 with great satisfaction. I just bought a 2019 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet from a Mercedes dealer with 17,000 miles on it. It is cardinal red metallic and cam e to me looking like new. I watch your videos but I am a bit overwhelmed by all the products. Not being a detail professional, can you offer a suggestion on what I should start off with to maintain that high gloss look? I am leaning towards the Meguiar's products, but not sure which one. During the Summer the car is garaged in New England and during the Winter, it's outside in Central Florida. I just feel as much as I like Nu Finish, there are better choices for todays finishes.
Is this any better or worse than just using each product individually 3 times? I use the detailer and then ceramic wax. Ceramic wax sticks to the detailer really well
I'd like to see a comparison of hand corrected Vs machine, both the final finish and time spent, but has to be in an awkward spot, not an easy flat panel
Just started watching some of your detail videos and have found a lot of useful information so thank you for putting these out. Question regarding the products at the end of this video. I am a driveway detailer. I have a 2011 Dodge Avenger White. I was wondering if I would be wasting my time if I used the hybrid ceramic wax with the hybrid ceramic wax detailer? I don't have lots of time because I have a special needs child that can require my attention at any second. SO I usually just do a couple of panels at a time. Two more quick questions/request. Can you maybe do a test on a white car? and do these products do anything to help conceal, cover-up, remove swirls or not?
Hey Brian, thanks for the support to your community. Would you ever recommend a touchless wash with a foam cannon and PH neutral soap if you have mainly concrete dust from being parked underground? It's coated with CSL and EXO v4 a year ago and topped with beadmaker every 2 weeks Thank you again.
Love to see the pro range testing and also 2 of those meguiars items are not available in any stores in australia,( m27 and Ceramic wax) you can get the blue bottle and green bottle, but not the paste versions of the products and even the pro range which comes with a dedicated SIO2 ceramic coating in liquid form, not a paste or spray but with a meguiars applicator and gloves. :) So just imagine doing a stack of the paste and blue bottle and then the liquid SIO2 Dedicated ceramic coating it would last even longer, thats what i want to see a test done with the new liquid form of SIO2 ceramic coating on its own, you have tested the others just not the pro range items. :) M27 is part of that range?
Love the vids! Question, what is the correct sequence when applying these: Wax, sealant & polish? Also, what is a good way to make a ceramic coat show more gloss?
The correct sequence is wash, clay bar, polish (this is where you get the shine you’re looking for. Use a dual action polisher and orange pad with Meguiars 205), sealer, and then stack the wax if desired. I use detailer after subsequent washes to help dry and add shine.
I wax once a year with meguires hc wax and once or twice a month when I wash my truck I do a quick wipe down with the hc detailer. My truck stays hydrophobic between washes all year long. I honestly don't think you need the sealant in the stack.
Hate to be a stickler for detail and I know this isn't the videos intent but still would have been interesting to see if stacking caused any noticeable difference. For example the full stack, than a square with the last two products only, followed by another square with just the detailer. I do understand tho this isn't realistic for folks to do and more of just a fun test but none the less it would be interesting to see if stacking complimented each product improving their performance and if so, by what degree.
Brian, How does the Meguiars stack compare to the Turtle Hybrid Polish/Wax, Ceramic Spray & 3 in 1 detailer? As far as longevity & price? I believe the TW hybrid products are lee expensive?
Could I use just one of those products on my car and get a similar gloss level and protection? I have a 14 y/o car that was never garaged and the paint is in pretty good shape. Just don’t want to spend a ton of time stacking 3 products if one will get me 80% there.
great video and product review good friend. what's that strange warm light by is that what the sun looks like?lol.both u and I r in monsoon season on east coast. b well good friend 🍻🍻🍻🍻
1) how can you know if this combination lasts a year if some of them have only been out a few months. And this is just my opinion why wouldn’t you just use one product and be done with it instead of take a lot more time and stack everything. Myself I like Adam’s 9H Ceramic spray..But to each his own right. It keeps excellent videos coming
The world need more people like You, caring for others.
We continue to see great results from off the shelf retail products! Great video as usual!
It is so cool having Meguires and Turtle Wax on top of their games. What a great time to be detailing cars.
Thanks Brian for evaluating the effectiveness of a stack of products from a particular manufacturer. Your use of glossmeter readings is very helpful.
Thanks Brian, I’m a compulsive stacker, mainly because I find it very calming

That's awesome Brian you are a true gentleman! I hope only those who can really use the products enter to win.... Thank you
It is cool to see real world products being used, rather than the high dollar specialty products so few of us can reasonable afford to try!
I was surprised and impressed. It looks like I’m going to dab with those products. 😬
Brian thank you so much for your review i will consider this stack of product
Wow! Excellent demonstration!!
Never would have thought of this combo.

Sir, you're a true gentleman.
Just wanted to say I enjoy watching your videos and always appreciate your candid and honest feedback!
Those were some amazing results. It really took some abuse. Thanks for sharing. Also that's an awesome giveaway. Very much appreciated 👍
Love these video, great job showing us how these products work.
I figured m27 was the professional version of ceramic wax. Never would think to stack them.
I'd love to see how it compares to the turtle wax hybrid solution ceramic stack!
Meguiar's way better than TwSC
@@s.d.h.3t981 not even close! Apparently you haven't watched Brian's torture tests of both.

Can you do a review on the last coats newest spray ceramic (Black Ice).
Thanks for all of the content Brian!

congratulations to the winner ile will look in a store near by and see i can locate these products
My preferred stack consist of Jescar powerlock + then meguiars hybrid ceramic lidquid wax then the ceramic spray detailer...really awesome too!!!!
Another great video thank you for the stacking idea. As having most of them products I will not throw my hat in this time I wish good luck to all who enter. 👍🏻🏒🇨🇦
I cant see past Gyeon products, the bang for buck coupled with the ease of use and results are hard to beat.
Hi always look forward to your videos. Very very informative , thank you very much.
Great video. And thanks for helping all those in need. 👍👍
This is the video that I needed. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. Great of you to offer some boost in moral during these times. Stay safe!

I did something that I really like with the Ceramic detailer. I added Sonax BSD with it.... GOOD ... LORD.... the beading is insane 😂
ANother great informative video. I thought it was funny that youtube put a turtle wax commercial in on this Meguiars test :) Ihope who ever wins the package is someone who can really use it hopefully someone who is not working and could use a little bright spot in there day. I’m curious what the depth was after the torture test. Woulda been neat to see that. To see if that .1 layer of protection was still there.
Is this any better or worse than just using each product individually 3 times? I use the detailer and then ceramic wax. Ceramic wax sticks to the detailer really well
I thought of that too. Would any of the sealant/coatings do the same or better if layered?
A possibility...worth experimenting!
Nice thanks Brian
Neat test!
I use Mequiars all the time. Not the best but can be found locally.
Great video , as always.
I'd like to see a comparison of hand corrected Vs machine, both the final finish and time spent, but has to be in an awkward spot, not an easy flat panel
FYI the 5.5 mil reading is actual total film thickness from bare metal up
Very impressive. Would you say that it is equal to the new TW line? Thank you.
Chris Murphy I shall test it.
Which panel prep are you using sir?

How long will the Meguires liquid ceramic wax last on the paint? The one in the yellow bottle?
Can you layer a wax like Chemical Guys petes wax or a sealant such as CG Jetseal in top or under the Meguires Ceramic Liquid wax?
Is there any difference between waterless wash and detail spray?
How do you compare it to power lock
