Mars is incredible. Responded to me in 3 minutes. Purchased from him (less than online sellers) set up remotely on laptop i purchased online and now I know its set up correctly buying from any other source would be CRAZY
I want to give a HUGE shout out to Both You and Mars! I do all my work on my Panamera GTS and have only had an icarsoft Por v3.0, so I am very limited in what I can do. Was about to buy a PIWIS online but saw too many issues and concerns from others. After your video, I contacted Mars, who replied almost immediately! Bought a PIWIS from him and received it in a few days. He had it all configured and even had bonus items such as parts list and repair manual for my car. Plus...I didnt have the issues with the rolling back the date to 2020 to make it work as others have mentioned in the forums. I was able to change my PDK Fluid & Filter and did the Calibration with No issues. Car feels SO Much better now! Highly recommend Mars for the PIWIS and a Big Thank You to You for all of your content. (Had I not seen your videos...I may have been stuck after ordering online) THANK YOU!
I recently bought this software and used to repair the PDCC system on my 08 Cayenne turbo. Mars is professional and incredibly capable. He was happy and willing to help assist with every step. I would recommend this to anyone doing their own diagnostics and calculations.
Just wanted to let you know that on the Panamera, as well as the Macans, you can use ODIS and run the cal, and service reset. All you need to do is go in as an Audi A7, S5, basically any Audi model that has the DSG as the transmission used on the Panamera and Macan is the Audi DSG unit, not an actual PDK.
I'm afraid to use my Por II scanner. When I saw the post on the other device, I thought "oh crap", I'm REALLY going to mess up with this! I have a 2010 Panamera And I noticed it felt like a clutch started slipping. Had the transmission service by an outside provider. Fortunately, I had bought an extended warranty, negotiated at a very reasonable price from the seller. Checked with the Porsche dealership, who honored the great warranty, as it turns out. $20,000 later to the warranty company, they swapped out my transmission. To your point, I'm wondering if it was a matter of programming. I rather doubt it, as I'm sure that they have access to all that info. Regardless, with a small deductible of $250, that was all dealt with. On the other hand, coils and plugs were replaced, thanks to your video! Piece of cake! Now, off to rear brakes and looking at your video a few times, again, to make sure I prep right and don't miss any tools! Glad it worked out John! Thanks for your postings!
You shouldn't have to worry with the POR II its pretty safe. I feel like when I got my car it always felt like it was slipping under light acceleration on take off. but I guess that is pretty normal from what I read. one thing I have learned so far after all the forum digging. the PDK is a very good dependable transmission, but the electronics can go bad in them pretty easy. and as you could see from my mistakes the calibrations can go bad too :) I'm glad for the internet these days and the good people who share the info. that's actually really good news that you where able to get a new PDK under warranty for only 250.
@@TomorrowsTek Yes, my "original" PDK was " slipping", similar to riding a clutch on a manual transmission. Forward and reverse. A few pointers on how to reset, without devices, included turning off The PCM, air conditioning for 2 minutes, turning it on for 2 minutes, then getting out and locking the car. Bizarre, but it worked. For a period of time, anyway. However, this new PDK is far more responsive. Subjectively, it does not "engage", so to speak, immediately, starting off. Very split second before it kicks on in second gear, as it should.
where you able to reach him? he has been very busy with the orders and service since i started posting these. I will reach out to him on your behalf if you have not reached him yet.
I'm glad you were able to get your car up and running. Thanks for all the information you are providing. Curious, do you still plan to make a PDK service video?
Hi Mel and thanks for you kind words and support. I actually did the PDK fluid and filter change video today. I'm going to pour some of the old oil and the new oil into clear glasses tomorrow to show them both. I hope to have edits done and released Tuesday.
Hello I write you from Italy! I have a problem on macan and I would like to try to solve it with piwis. Could you tell me what you need to buy for the power supply (amperes and volts)? I have to make adaptation after replacement splitter and control unit
A question. I ordered a Cayenne turbo in 2019 with PDLS+. Unfortunately that option was turned off due to USA lighting laws. Now that option is ok but the dealer tells me that they have no idea how to turn it on, do you?
We need mars bad!! Same issue here with a 2014 turbo S, was he able to fix it with just his PIWIS or he needed to do actually hex coding with another tool? I know you feel my pain!
he fixed it remotely thru the computer I used my piwis on. I started the porsche technical support group on facebook. he has helped quite a few people's on there as well. give him a shout. his info is in the description
Fixed this car, suggested to replace only clutch, but they go beyond and replace the whole pdk assy, Then reprogram and re calibrate. Car back on the road. Thumbs-up.
I currently have 130k miles on mine. she is running very strong right now after I made several repairs. I really think they could easily run 200k or more
This was helpful, but do you know what he actually did to fix it? I tried programming mine and I think the same thing happened. Worked fine before, tried programming, now wont go drive.
The software the Chinese are selling us are being coded to not pick up the car ignition as well as other things. They want you to call back so the can charge you 800 usd to reprogram it. I paid my buddy Mars to do right, he fixed mine remotely in a few hours in the garage one night
Sorry that happened to you as well. Its very common these days. I was hoping to get the word out before it happens to to many. Mars is the man. he is a wizard on the piwis and this specific issue.

My piwis3 is a Vxads. It works fine. I updated the steering whell, and the DME, coding all that and all is ok
Where do i get the code for coding. Example steering wheel heat 😊

John sup bro, did that trans cal fix the noise you were getting after your autocross with PCA?
Yes I was extremely relieved to have my car back to normal.
