The Hellhounds name is defining its purpose, its powers, its identity. Crowley mentions that it would probably be named something along the lines of Throat-ripper, or Stalks-by-Night. But Adam names it Dog. So "dog" become its identity. Had he named it "Giant Man-eater" it would have become THAT. But now "dog" is the purpose of the Hellhounds existence. 😁 So the Hellhound didn't actually CHOOSE to become a small cute dog, he become that through the process of getting his defining name. :)
Please continue with the series! ❤ it gets even better. (We probably wont see season 2 before sometimes in 2023. They start filming in September 2021) .
@@MichalZismanReactions I'm happy that you continue the series, looking forward to seeing your reactions to the rest of the story. And yes, it's a bit of a wait for the second season, but up until a few weeks ago we thought there wasn't going to BE a second season. So we (the fandom) are extremely happy (and a bit nervous) at the moment ;) Nervous because this first season is based on 1 book by the authors Sir Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, and sadly Sir Terry has passed away, so: would a second season be as good? But Neil Gaiman assures us that he and Sir Terry actually did roughly plot out a second book. It was just never written and published. Neil Gaiman will be writing the script, and a lot of the same people (directors, composer and ofc actors) will be involved again. So I, for one, am pretty hopeful! ❤😊❤😊❤
In the book, Crowley brought the dove back to life for Aziraphale, but they couldn't get the shot right for the tv show, so Aziraphale did it himself. Crowley is definitely swaggery. He's got slithery snake hips. And, yes, there IS something about David Tennant..... They said they won't start filming season two until late this year.
@@MichalZismanReactions Yes. They are hiring people to train to work on the production in Scotland, though. Neil Gaiman has been talking about it online. David Tennant currently is filming a new Netflix series and was supposed to go back on stage later in the year but not sure that is still going forward. I don't know what Michael Sheen has going on.
Hurray! Thanks for taking my suggestion! It will be great fun. Fantastic music. Beautiful camera work. Broadchurch probably is the tv show you were trying to think of. (David Tennant is my very favorite actor.)
I highly recommend the book. I have read it repeatedly over the years and I still laugh like a fool every time. This series is a brilliant and faithful adaptation.
Oh this is going to be a treat. The book this is adapted from (almost word for word) was written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and is a very loose satire/parody of the classic supernatural thriller "The Omen". I am quite pleased you are doing this and am sure you will enjoy this series greatly.
The child was to be raised by the Politician not because they are stupid or evil but because the child will then be at the centre of power . . . if he had been raised by the correct family . . .
Religious Comedy is a small niche. But there are some other good ones if you want to continue the theme: The Good Place (TV, 4 seasons) Monty Python's The Life of Brian Dogma Bruce Almighty
1) i love that you're taking notes. so cute 2) a few of the references (biblical ones?) seemed to be lost on you. If you need any help with that in the future (Season 2 coming up, thank...someone :D)), please let me know. I'm an atheist now but I had religion in school and got interested in it later. I don't want to make assumptions about your nationality or religion so...there's the offer :) 3) not even an episode in and you see what many cis-het people didn't see, PLUS you gave a lot of prompts for fanfictions - amazing :D... I'mma let you figure that comment out for yourself as you on ;) 4) oh and yeah. his swagger, his hips. kinda like he has no spine, like a snake, right?! yeah sure, definitely. but also...hot af. and that's...an accident?! I think NOT^^ 5) the mistake was not made by Crowley btw, the switch was made by the nuns. Maybe watch the scene again, you seemed to be a bit confused in the first place ("why are there two couples?" that's the point, so there can be a switch-a-roo) it was, as the "off-voice" (aka God) said " something that happens when humans are being humans
Which biblical references did I miss? From this episode, I only remember them showing Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve.... Bible class was and still is mandatory at school where I live, but I can't say I remember everything.
@@MichalZismanReactions oh you are FAST fast😱😂 No no, the big ones you obviously got, but there are (and there will be) teeensy tine little ones popping up, as well as as pop culture (which you've obviously got down to a T already :D) maybe it's something that you cut out or..I missed the joke? but when you said "oh, are we gonna see nuditiy?" and then lateron, you were like "ah no, they have clothes" - yeah, Crowley is/was the snake who is/was the Snake who tempted Eve to eat the Apple. Before that, everyone in the Garden of Eden was NEKKED ("everyone" Adam and Eve)The reason they where clothed after was because of that "sin". Also when the swapparoo happened with the kids and you just happily said "oh yeah, Adam's a nice name" I mean...yeah but...in that context, that has a VERY specific meaning^^ (also, my sincerest condolences, wherever you live. It's always shit to being forced into something with not proper evidence behind it) I've just turned 30 and when I started school, even secondary school, that was still the case as well, we were only given the choice once we were 16. In the words of Crowley : "Thank...someone!" that's different now - at least in some parts of the world
you're so cute and so charming, quick suggestion though: let the video run while you're commenting, those cold cuts aren't helping with the immersion. Please keep doing the series (and try re-uploading the fourth one ;)) PS: as for the actors: - Michael Sheen is an absolute chamaeleon. try "unthinkable", "Masters of Sex", or "underworld: Rise of the Lycans" (the last one is kind of a shitshow, but since you said your guilty pleasure is Twilight...you might like that one ;))(just a few of his impressive acting chops) my point is: you wouldn't recognise the man - David has risen to worldwide fame when he took over the role of "Doctor Who" in 2005 (the then showrunner Russel T David previously did a miniseries called "Casanova" and just COULDN'T find the right actor...until David auditioned - he immediately knew he was the guy. Not just for Casanova, but also for the role of the Doctor) He went on to star in pretty much everything you can think of (the one you thought of was "Broadchurch")) and remains, to this day, one of the most beloved, down-to-earth and wholesome actors and human beings in the UK. For some of his other works, try Doctor Who, Jessica Jones, Des, single father, the politician's father...etc etc (honestly, just go to Imdb😅) for a good dose of both of them: watch "Staged". it's hilarious and adorable. Or...any time either of them have been on the Graham Norton show :D Hope you enjoy the ride
@@MichalZismanReactions I know that, but I regularly watch reaction videos that do exactly that . Most "reactioneers" (is that a word nowadays? :D) do that. If you're new to "the game" - check out the big guys and gals, that probably helps Either way, I'm gonna stick with you "till the end", just because I love your enthusiasm and you're cute af (don't worry, I'm not coming onto you, I am, unfortunately, straight^^)
why do ppl do reactions without doing any research whatsoever? I mean I get doing an honest reaction. But...this just seems very fake. Michal, you seem to have no real interest in the series, clearly haven't read the book, and just hopped on the 'this is popular' train
