@@clairethompson5549 Charming and evocative as this notion is, I doubt it frankly. You need creative discipline to come up with something that good. I've never seen him in anything and not enjoyed his performance, not even his early work, like 'Taking Over the Asylum' (absolutely find this and watch it if you want to see Such!A!Kid!David! He's SO adorable!). He's been on his game from the start and only gotten better. There are things he's done I've been like, "Yeah, not my thing; think I'll pass," but it's been b/c of what it's about, never because I didn't think I'd enjoy his performance. TBH, there are times when he's played the villain, such as in Jessica Jones, I've had to seriously debate if I'm going to watch b/c of how incredibly good he is at being creepy, soulless, and evil. It can be triggering for me. I suppose it's a compliment; "You're such a good actor it triggers me and I cannot watch"? 😄

Unfortunately, there isn't a full audiobook with him as narrator. The full cast one has him performing only the Crowley parts. Frankly, I thought the narrator in that version was quite dull. Another full audiobook is ready by one narrator, and he's pretty good.

@@letolethe3344i felt the same. while the narrator did remind me of god’s voice from the show, it’s not quite the one i wanted to listen to for hours and hours on end. i would have preferred a bit more personality, imagine if we could get neil himself to read it all with cast?

    How many seconds in eternity?
    And the Shepherd's Boy says:
There's this big mountain, see, a mile high, at the end of the universe. And once every thousand years, there's this little bird. And it flies, in a spaceship if you like, all the way to this mountain and sharpens its beak. Sharpens its beak on the mountain. And then it flies back. And after a thousand years, it goes and does it all over again. When the bird has worn the mountain down to nothing, then you still won't have finished watching "the Sound of Music".
You might think that's a hell of a long time. Personally, I think that's a hell of a bird.

I love this scene in the TV series, mostly because of how, when they force themselves to sober up, they repeatedly work their tongues with disgusted looks on their faces. Ever see a cat that's just been given medicine? That's what they look like. 😝😜😝
