This is incredibly brilliant! AUM makes sense to record music on now! I’ve been combining it with Atom2 midi editor and it makes a full DAW within AUM! Thank you so much for posting it! I wish now that the multitrack would have more than 8 (7) busses to use but I’m glad it’s working well!
Thank you for this video, I love AUM but I’ve been struggling to turn my AUM jams into proper multitrack songs. I just got the MultiTrack auv3 but don’t know where to start! This vid is great, very useful!
A useful video which I found by googling for ways of doing recording in AUM (via the Reddit post). So far I have just recorded separate loops and play them back using AUM's file player but that seems very limiting. I'll give this a try. Mostly I just want to jam away and when something good comes out, save it and insert it into the right bit of the song. But without resorting to a full DAW. I think this could work.
Nice demo of your workflow 👍🏽 thx for the tip with the AUM „timeline“ to move the start in multitrack! One thing to mention is to set the midi of softdrummer to listen to start/stop on AUM to get perfect loops😉 I might ask you what iPad you using, because I saw the cpu went high after putting the mixbox auv3 in the effect chain.
Thanks. Agree the AUM control of time line is key, specially when using several instances of multitrack. It is an iPad pro from 2017. I can reach its limits quite fast. I think however that I left a small buffer on this exemple. Cheers.
There is a way in which you can use MultiTrack to do exactly as its name suggests even though AUM has restricted this. I run 16 inputs using Behringer UPHORIA1820 (162 GBP) & ADA8200 (138 GBP) into my iPad 3rd Gen (2018) Pro that records into 2 main MultiTrack instances seamlessly as its supposed to however, Neon Audio Editor is the way forwards with this kind of workflow and paired with Helium MIDI Application makes AUM just that further step into a full DAW but still has its amazing and wonderful mixer combined. if you wish i can do a tutorial on this and more Apps Auv3's etc? Let me know. Shaun McMahon
Very informative.
Thank you.
A beautiful and powerful workflow. That tip on the AUM timeline control was amazing! Great work - thanks!

Thanks for a helpful video.
How do you manage DSP - it keeps overshooting and causing distortion

Wow you have sucg great knowledge about AUM, could I do this without buying Multitrack app?

Merci
I’m seeing this video!
A pity that the voice is sooooo bad. Sorry
Here in the US. I understood everything quite well, and my hearing is not the greatest.
Good, not bad
