I think the reason why that aggravated Batman the most was because… 1. It was done in Crime Alley 2. The victims were a couple and they were friends of Bruce.
@brandonsabih5152 As he said "1. It was in Crime Alley" That's the location his parents died, if you look back in the video you can see the chalk marks of the Wayne's still there
To be fair, I feel like that's a reasonable question when standing in front of 6 foot 8 grown ass man in a tec armor plated bat costume while choking the shit out of you a meanwhile spouting some random nonsense (to you at because if I was in his position with all the adrenaline and fear I probably wouldn't be able to hear anything)
You can really hear the rage batman had when interrogating the man, the way he was calling him those things and the way he called him out on why did it. This whole thing might as well have been a PTSD trip for him as he was letting his emotions get the best of him here, if Alfred didn’t chime him Batman would have most likely killed that guy.
The best part is they didn't even need to make new animations for this. All of this rage, this emotional build-up, this lashing out was done with pure voice acting and the standard interrogation animations. THAT'S how you effectively re-use assets and still remain a thrilling narrative.
My favorite thing about this is that while the recording is rewinding, you can see around 0:43 and 0:46 quick flashes of Martha's and Thomas's bodies in the outline the couples were killed in.
The outline is not from the couple that were killed that night. Their bodies weren't moved, as you can see. It's the exact spot where Martha and Thomas died. The rose next to it is from Bruce.
Whenever Batman’s PTSD starts to kick in, that’s when he becomes the most dangerous. Bruce was really thinking about killing that guy before Alfred stepped in to calm him down.
I can only imagine what Alfred was doing when he noticed Bruce’s heart rate spiking and suddenly realise what was happening especially with the conversation he just had with him minutes ago
@tentayeprimo6674 What do you mean? They referenced Origins in Arkham Knight quite a few times. Firefly mentions the bridge, and we see Electrocutioners gloves in the GCPD lockup. So Rocksteady does acknowledge Origins' existence, and they consider it canon.
Got to love how police in this game just casually leaves a crime scene with the bodies and everything for Batman to go investigate when he has the time. Lol
Literally triggered buddy’s PSTD from his parents dying by killing a couple. & this was FRESH, YOUNG Batman of only 2 years! Sheesh, imagine year ONE! - Maalik
"What's wrong with you" I would say that this is the pot calling the kettle black, but considering Batman's suit color, I don't think that statement works quite as well.
"What the hell's wromg with you?!" 'Woah woah woah, okay you snapped me out, but this is confusion, you're actually asking Me? Like you didn't just murder a couple for fuckall? You need a ride to arkham? I'd be more than willing to take you there'
It was awesome ever since I bought the game few days after its official release back in 2013. Only complaint I have is regarding the bugs that prevented me from executing certain actions like interrogating enemies for information thus having to restart the checkpoint and redo the fight all over again
I actually thought it was about batman almost killing a thug after killing his friends. Like all those Arkham knight clips of players taking out getaway cars
Your combat skills are flawless, I'm so jealous! What do you have equipped/unlocked that causes the red streaks during combat? Also I've never seen that ankle twisting animation before (2:56), how'd you do that???
@BugBoyYT Yeaaaah...I absolutely suck at combos 😅 there's always some random knife guy that comes outta nowhere to ruin my streak 😭 I know it's a skill issue on my end lol but thanks for the tip anyway!
The Critical Combo Boost upgrade is a must have. After reaching a certain number of attacks, everything becomes slower and countering becomes way easier because of it.
It caught me off guard because i thoight that was the same markings of his parents so before that case file investigation i kept standing on the markings waiting for an interaction to pay respects but it was the other couple in bruce's circle😂😂
@BugBoyYT yeah, had me confused is that the same its the same movie studio as in arkham city where they have that interaction with the hugo strange audio log. Thats why i appreciate arkham origibs becuase they gave us a version of gotham where they potrayed arkham city before it was a prison.
It would have been a much better video if you would have included the dialogue every criminal in a criminal case in Arkham origins has dialogue where they speak on why they did what they did before you approach them.
“Whoops, Ian’s body accidentally fell into the ocean next to us, who woulda seen this coming. Well, guess he was also drunk, so it’s fine.” -Batman, if I was him. (Also, I like that this video title calls Ian what he is. Not a rich socialite or even a villain like the Joker… Ian Chase was just a petty, angry thug. No more than that…
I think the reason why that aggravated Batman the most was because…
1. It was done in Crime Alley
2. The victims were a couple and they were friends of Bruce.
It could have also reminded him of how his parents got killed
@brandonsabih5152 As he said
"1. It was in Crime Alley"

It was personal. That simple.

What's wrong with HIM? This coming from the guy who killed a woman and her fiance simply because he couldn't have her.
@@caliefgamerReasonable?! The man murdered a woman and her fiance because he was jealous. I think a better word would be realistic.
Batman: “Not out of jealousy, not out of anger, you did it because you're a small, selfish, malicious...”

@BugBoyYT Thanks :)
When Batman get angry
I’m pretty sure he did do it out of jealousy and anger. It makes no sense.
@@symbolguy3609true but it indeed was incredibly selfish

Arkham Origins def set the detective tone for Knight.
Origins was a great game, it's a shame that Rocksteady pretends it never existed
We never had to follow the red triangle in Knight.
@@tentayeprimo6674 it's WB themselves who don't want to acknowledge it. Rocksteady made plenty of references back to Arkham Origins in Arkham Knight.

Considering Batman was already struggling with his anger and hatred against criminals, that punk got lucky that he wasn't choked to death by Bruce.

They know they are useless, so why bother
Bruce definitely would have killed him had Alfred not chimed in. He knew why his Not-son had a spiked heart rate
That is true and crazy to think
Nah I don’t think he would’ve killed him but probably paralyzed him.
@elijahbaker781 idk this is a much younger batman who's more reckless and emotional
I would have.

Man…Roger Craig Smith does such a good Dark Knight voice…perfect growl for a Younger, less hardened Bruce
His Batman voice is basically a very pissed off Chris Redfield and it works.
It's Bruccio Wayneditore da Gotham
I’ve never heard Batman sounding that pissed off before holy cow. I never even noticed that before until now
Yeah it’s a crazy scene
3:05 I love how he makes the thug feel low and ashamed
A very underrated moment in the arkham series
Batman as a brutal and tanky block of hatred and muscle > Batman as a calmly untouchable martial artist.
True
Think we have enough walls of muscle already. I'll take the untouchable martial artist
@ 😂
Batman as a tactical genius who's driven by revenge and hatred> anything physically related
If I were Batman, I would do everything to make sure that such a monster was eating through a straw for the rest of his life.
Batman does that to the most common criminals lmao
"What's wrong with you"
I would say that this is the pot calling the kettle black, but considering Batman's suit color, I don't think that statement works quite as well.

22 years old now and I'm still waiting for a remaster of this game ,
And i just got done playing it with ps plus
Closest to that is Arkham Shadow which just came out which has this same version of Arkham Batman
Arkham Origins is actually very good
It is
Shame that people just now started realising this all of a sudden

"What the hell's wrong with you?", says the guy that just killed two innocent people.
Ian Chase didn’t kill them out of hate, greed, none of that.
He did it for the meme.
