great display base! love the options you can work with. interesting flight stand, love that magnet idea. I have the original "Transcendent" but haven't done much with that alternate head sculpt. I'm surprised you didn't do a comparison to the original By Art Transcendent, Does his head come loose on this new version?
I think both of the headsculpts are quite good. The lines between a hot toy headsculpt and a third party one are getting more blurred as time goes on. Impressive.
Im glad that I did pre ordered Black Transcendent, for me both the headsculpts is decently ok in my opinion, the hair in on the right side, not like HT, the main thing draw me into this one is the fallen Justice League base. Picking this one up also save me a lot of money then the Hot Toys double pack feature Black Suit Superman and the leather coat detolerate Knightmare Batman.
I seen this while browsing the site and passed on it until I seen your review lol I have the hot toys pre ordered but with the head sculpts and size of body and the other new stuff I said why not have two versions and ordered this one as well! I have the original transcendence figure and I prefer this body over the HT body, the HT is oddly proportioned, your side by side comparison demonstrates this. I particularly dislike the shoulders and thighs on the HT figure
Not bad at all. A bargain even. While it may be too tall, I do prefer the body proportions to the one on my Hot Toys BvS Superman, that fella has chicken drumstick legs. I really like the heat vision head sculpt. It looks better than the Hot Toys equivalent to my eyes. Factor in the base and it's a terrific option for collectors.
Why, do we climb a mountain? Because it's there. Why do we pick up 3rd party items? Same reason. Agree love the base. I don't have the black suited Superman. Was waiting for the Hot Toys. I really wish they just released the Hot Toys black suit version by itself especially since the Knightmare Batman and Black suit Superman was I don’t think ever in a scene together…..
Hey Justin, would it work to use a Hot Toys flight pole and screw into this JL display base? Sometimes 3rd party flight poles are not the same circumference. Thanks for another great review!

This looks decent. The base is great. The body is trash like the SSR BATMAN HUSH. who decides to use these trash bodies, can’t be having a single bend arm for Superman! I love the magnet flight pole, definitely something different and cool.
I’ve looked at the Hot Toys version online in the U.K. and it looks like it’s only going to be sold with Knightmare Batman for £500, is that right? I’m not saying Batman wouldn’t be a good addition but it’s a bit pricey.

Justin quick question, I hate when they give us wires in the cape, because I buy hot toys to use them in stop motion films not to keep them displayed. I was wondering if it is possible to remove the wires? I want to film a sick shot with sups cape flapping around as he flies, but since it’s wired it won’t work.
Seeing Cavill in the angelic all black Superman suit in ZSJL is such a beautiful presence that wipes its A$$ with the ugly CGI top lip in JOSStice League, and it just makes me wish and hope for Cavill to reprise the role hopefully in a standalone Superman sequel even more🥺🥺🥺
