Headed to California rn to go see Snyder’s trilogy with him for the first time in color and in IMAX and this comes out. Completing the knightmare league was my main reason to start collecting hot toys. This is awesome can’t wait for mine to come in.

The details are flawless except for the transparent thrusters which I'm not fan of but even that it is a pretty dope. The accessories are nice and I love the base plate, overall beautiful craftsmanship from Hot Toys.

As a visual effect artist myself, I want to tell you that even if the suit is CGI, they usually create a maquette of the character first and you are required for character design to obey the laws of physics to the best of your ability, that being said, I think this is one of hot toys best figures to date with all the original sculpting and creating they had to do.
Sure a practical scale model exists for lighting reference on set etc however there is no way to make this thing practical and move the way hot toys has. The things he does in the film would be impossible to accomplish without intersecting vertices etc

Great video! Cyborg looks awesome. Is it possible for the extra arms that attach to cyborgs back to hold guns in each hand or are they too big or not articulate enough? Because I really want my Cyborg to be holding a machine gun or two!
@@JustinsCollection Let's hope. I bought a cheap 1:6 scale mini gun and machine gun figure accessories from ebay in hopes I can get my upcoming Cyborg to hold with his extra arms. Hopefully it can hold em. :)
I suppose the batteries are a trade off, the alternative would be to have a USB cable hanging out from somewhere. Maybe Hot Toys will develop a system where the power for the lights are powered by the stand similar to wireless charging on phones.
They should have an internal battery that can be charged and then have a single button to light up the figure. They can have that internal battery generic and swappable if it dies

Great review as always, I’m glad to repirt that Cyborg just arrived in my collection and it’s awesome, now the only one I need to get is Aquaman JL… no matter what brand of JL I’m collecting always the last one I get is Aquaman 😂
The jl line will never be complete as far as lines go. With this being zsjl tms line not mms. I do have a feeling hot toys will reissue the jl under zsjl tms line. We got this, knightmare batman & superman and tactical batman. All that leaves is flash, wonderwoman and aquaman. Also maybe regular batman.
The figure looks great. I'm still not a fan of the design. Reducing him to just a human head I think misses the point. He's a mix of man and machine. Not well Robocop. That the figure isn't CGi really makes you appreciate the design. The lightbleed. The thing is the whole armor is full of lightbleed in the film. It's like Cyborg is energy encased in an alien metal. Like a guyver.
