Saved my day, all other TH-cam videos that I have seen are telling me to put the alternator pulley last, I was alone so it was difficult for me. But you’re method is the most easiest ❤🎉 Tanks a lot 🎉❤

One thing i would’ve mentioned for the DIY’ers, the belt is grooved on the inside and smooth on the outside. When installing, groove to groove and smooth to smooth. This will prevent putting it on wrong.

If anyone didn’t know that they shouldn’t work on their own vehicle

Quick question, was it a torque wrench that you used? I have a drive socket that I use (3/8 in), and for the life of mine I cannot get it to the position that I need.

Great video - VERY honest in the re-Check: that EACH groove must be on and aligned with EACH of the ribbed-pulleys !!(- new guys get to buy 2 new belts due to pre-mature failure... My 16 YO's first learning lesson on their Toyo )

you the man. I did this 3 times, 2 different belts 2 different tensioners. 2 man job to walk that pos off or on. 0 stars do not recommend, dam tensioner barely moves. bad engineering.

I can recommend Bando serpentine belts. They seem to me to be better quality. I even think Toyota use them.

I usually get my wife to pull on the tensioner while I slip the belt on 😂. It's her car after all 😂. Toyota is easy to do, on most other cars I slip the belt over the the tensioner and do either the crank on American Cars, power steering in Honda, or alternator if high enough, do those last. Believe it or not, even going over the lip is 30 seconds compared to trying to squeeze it on the tensioner.

I tried going on the alternator last and I had the tensioner completely maxed, no can do.. had to go over the water pump pulley last
