Just saw this from your older videos. I've been trying to create a speed champions car elevator for my sky scraper and you have some great ideas sir. Love your content old and new
Great concept. Love your videos and have been watching for a while now even started MOCing myself and started a channel to highlight them. I will someday have a Lego town layout as well but for now don't have the space. Keep up the good work.
In order for the elevator to glide smoothly I had too use solid bricks to create the shaft. I could have used 2x2 or 6x6 windows but they have a hollow inside so wouldn't have worked. At this point I'm conserving my budget for other projects so was forced to use parts from my inventory rather than order the ideals. But I do agree the shaft could be more transparent and the elevator could have more details
Great design, love it! Is there any reason you used fishing line instead the regular Lego string? I think it would work with the Lego string as well (as long as it's the right size) but I am curious if you tested it. Fishing line is obviously a lot stronger.
So, it seems you have to be careful to stop it before it hits the top. Have you thought about adding a clutch gear so when it hits the top the clutch gear just spins with the motor and doesn't hurt anything else? Sorry if I missed you covering that point!
I wonder if you could add a clear glass inner door to the lift car to make it simulate safety features where people are secure from the elevator shaft.

Thats so awesome!
can u do a extra video how to build the skyscraper
C’est trop cool 👍
You should make the elevator shaft more glass so you can see the elevator going up and the cart more safe by detailing the elevator cart!

I did not have a long enough LEGO rope. Fishing line pulls a tight not Nd is really strong so it was a good substitute.
Great Work
Quick Question : From where can i get this Lego Kit ?

Yes I could look into adding this function
@@Bricksie can we see the moter?

I want to buy this? Where is it sold?
This is awesome! Does it stop consistently at every floor?
Yes you can time it with the IR remote
@@Bricksie Yeah, I see 👍
Bricksie: Do you recommend using fishing line for the elevator, or can I use the normal Lego rope?
Could use either. I decided to go with fishing line because it pulls tighter and smaller knots and can support a heavy load
How do you build the elevator step-by-step?
Can we sethemiter?
😘
My 5yr old son builds better.....
