This is the set I've been building while catching up on your videos from the past 3 months! I'm distancing myself from LEGO, but still buying and building every Modular. 6:08 is totally Mrs. Bricksie!
I'll be honest. When this set was first revealed, it caught me off guard. In a good way, if that makes sense. The style of architecture is really nice and the details and story telling inside is very well done. I'm a really big fan of the restaurant/pub on the main level. It's very cozy. Definitely a pre order for me. Thanks for the awesome review!
Amazing modular NICE addition to the lineup for sure! I love the building techniques. I am looking forward to grabbing this when its available. Great review! Be safe and well!
I can’t wait to get this one! When you said stuff about the tiling on the 2nd and 3rd floors, I couldn’t agree more. When I get a modular I tile the remaining floors and sometimes just change the whole floors design
I think this is a really cool modular building... It fits great in the series imo because in cities not everthing is in the same style and from the same era so this "old school, dublin style" pub next to the very 70´s Jazzclub is kinda sick.
This is an awesome modular building , the design is so pleasing to look at , and keep doing reviews on upcoming, and new sets , this adds different enjoyable content to showcase apart from you working , and doing an amazing job on your LEGO city , I plus many others viewers of yours love the showcase + review videos , I love that you did a review for this set but would be nice if Mrs Bricksie could do reviews on sets as well from time to time that would be cool , I only watch your TH-cam videos for LEGO content and honestly love it, so keep it up Bricksie & Mrs Bricksie , but we would love to see more of Mrs Bricksie as well, ✌️ out from the Golden state.
Funny fact: minifigures used to have the standard smile classic design (2 dots for the eyes, one smily face) up until 2017! It was only in 2018 that we finally got custom designs and the rest is history!
Hi Bricksie. Thanks for a super review! This set is top class, and so like the lovely Tudor houses in Chester UK. All the little details are there, and show the rich imaginations of the designers. So many little touches that are just exquisite. As for a place to put it? Would it be suitable next to the station where you currently have the hospital? Tough one to decide hey? On a different note, the roof pieces on the Tudor house may be the colour Jose was looking for for the Venetian houses roofs.
It is a very good looking and detailed modular building. The red roof in particular combines really well with the white and black tudor style walls. I'm not as impressed as you are with the interiors, it is good, but not as impressive as I've seen with other modulars. Especially taking the time to fully explore the in- and outside of the building in great detail was enjoyable to watch. I would have loved to see some ideas of which modular buildings this would fit well with, so placing it in the city would be a nice thing to add. Or simply placing next to a few modulars in the video for size and color comparisons would have been a good bonus. That said, thanks for a nice review, one of many. I hope the upcoming sets will be just as good or better than this one!
They achieved that angle on the bottom, where pub is. Would be way cooler, if they did the same on the first floor, and on the roof. And it would be absolutely the best modular if the would keep the same middle age style of timber wall and the roof for the second, blue building. I don't get why that one they made as 19th century neoclassical.
@joce1275 thanks I might have missed that part. It makes a lot more sense then when Jordan was talking about printed pieces and repurposed or recolored pieces used in the build.
The fact Lego have released a modular pub makes the chances of Moe's Tavern becoming a thing one day a possibility, that and the Red Bull F1 cars being released as 18+ due to the unavoidable Red Bull sponsorship decals
This is one of their best-looking modulars but already outdated and behind the times in terms of structural design and accessibility, thanks to what Funwhole has done with their recent theater and record store modulars.
Why do people have issues with corner buildings? In Europe you almost Never have a long street without alleys... There are tiny streets, corners etc... You don't have the American checkerboard design where you have to walk 200m until you find the next corner.
Surprised to see a different time displayed on the outside ‘fancy’ clock. That would mismatch any of the normal clock pieces. Would like to know the reason behind that.
Great modular indeed I can't wait to get it. Btw if you ever run out of 2x2 tiles in light gray I have around 1600 for which I have no use I can send them over if needed
Perhaps you can place Tudor Corner next to the Venetian Houses and make a European quarter in your city. I feel like being an English pub, it deserves a cellar for storage, especially since you have mils-ed it.
I'm not sure that it's soot "coming out of" the fireplace; surely it's too neat? My interpretation would be that he has a nice caithness stone hearth or similar, even if there is a sub-story with the chimney sweep.
Hi bricksie Haberdasherys normally sell yarn, cotton threads, ribbons, needles, pins, scissors, material etc basically all to do with equipment that Taylor's, knitters etc use not really a hat shop. Awesome set it's going to be my first modular and i will be ordering it as soon as it becomes available. I enjoy all your vlogs on both channels all your lego content as well as your family stuff as well. Looking forward to the upcoming city developments. 🤓👍
Hey Bricksie! Would you Mils plate Lego sets that aren’t going into your city? I have the X-Mansion and just want to display it but I like the look of the mils and would make it sturdier. Thoughts?!? Thanks for all the great content!
I ma sorry to be negative, but I don't think it's fair to review a new set that has been modified (eg light grey sidewalk, black lamp post and mils plated)
I saw another reviewer show it right next to another corner modular and it actually looks pretty good, makes it look like there’s another little alleyway running between the buildings.
Grrr! Not getting the hours I used to, won't be able to afford it 😢 really cool set! Oh well... Haven't really been building since I lost my Fioncee. Half way through building Assembly Square when she died. She wouldn't let me get Sesame Street, got it since. It's still sitting there half finished, got a big backlog too... 😓
I may be one of few but I really dont care for the color schemes of this, it is just odd with how it’s laid out. It may be the first build ever that I change it up.
So most people s predicting this new moduler to be town housing with shop s on bottom level. Was Rong. ...clock maker hat shop .if I can get X2 of this .I have a great idea for a switch up build what I l would ove to do ..😊 😁🤔🤫🤫
Hat shops in the UK are the same as in Canada; no reels of yarn etc. They screwed up! 🤦 You would have thought one of the British Lego employees would have corrected them. 🤦 And the pub that looks like a coffee shop/cafe. 🤦 I know, I know... Lego doesn't want to promote alcohol to kids. 🥱
I feel like this modular building would look great on the canal
I may take this idea, thank you 😊
The style would certainly fit well. European cities all have canals, at least the ones that have a bit of history.
This is the set I've been building while catching up on your videos from the past 3 months! I'm distancing myself from LEGO, but still buying and building every Modular. 6:08 is totally Mrs. Bricksie!
I absolutely love this. I am a cat lady, so i enjoy that part. That minifig does resemble Mrs. Bricksie!
The most beautiful modular ever made 🤩
This is such an amazing modular!! I think it will, arguably, instantaneously become one of most peeps top 5 modulars! It’s a beauty!
The origen of the ladies hat piece was from the Fantastic Beasts minifigure 'Tina Goldstein' from 2018.
I'll be honest. When this set was first revealed, it caught me off guard. In a good way, if that makes sense. The style of architecture is really nice and the details and story telling inside is very well done. I'm a really big fan of the restaurant/pub on the main level. It's very cozy. Wow what an amazing set. Epic . Now I need a villiage …lol omg a chimney sweep . The vacuum is a great addition too. So much here to digest. Tfs
This set is love printed clocks haberdashery looks amazing great detail and minifigs awesome review
I think this is my favorite modular - and that mannequin is definitely a ghost - a Tudor house has to have a ghost
Amazing modular NICE addition to the lineup for sure! I love the building techniques. I am looking forward to grabbing this when its available. Great review! Be safe and well!
It looks great...can't wait to get it! Highlight for me is that Scally Cap in the Haberdashery in light grey!!!
I have Asperger’s and I like to say thank you bricksie for pointing out the printed tile piece with the sunflower lanyard.
I can’t wait to get this one! When you said stuff about the tiling on the 2nd and 3rd floors, I couldn’t agree more. When I get a modular I tile the remaining floors and sometimes just change the whole floors design
Looks like an awesome set! Can't wait to get it and build it. Great review.
I think this is a really cool modular building... It fits great in the series imo because in cities not everthing is in the same style and from the same era so this "old school, dublin style" pub next to the very 70´s Jazzclub is kinda sick.
It manages to be compatible architecturally with the majority of the Lego Modular line yet distinctive enough to stand out
It's more English Tudor style than a Dublin pub
@@quagsnake Touché
Really a set here you grow into!!! Great design, maybe a new personal favorite but the old fishing store is still my number one1!
Looks like a lot of unique pieces. Love the set. Great review. Thank you!
Got a pub in my wee town on the corner and it looks like this building. I’ve got to add it to my city!
That minifigure looks just like Ms Bricksie! 😂
It’s perfect for her! 🎉
I can see the resemblance to Mrs Bricksie there 😂. Beautiful modular, I'm excited to grab one!
I love the piece colors and details definitely gonna pick this one up atleast 3 of them
I’m getting the Tudor corner on January 1st
A great set, and one that's not only compatible with the majority of the Lego Modular line, but also the Lego Castle line.
My set arrived today. And I got the free corner kiosk to go with it. Looking forward to assembling it.
Got to love the colour you's to architect .😊
Funny fact: minifigures used to have the standard smile classic design (2 dots for the eyes, one smily face) up until 2017! It was only in 2018 that we finally got custom designs and the rest is history!
This is definitely a Day 1 buy for me. Maybe even two copies...
Reminds me of an old British pub we have here .. would look good near a train station 👍🏻👍🏻
Looks really good. Will be interesting to see where you place it.
Hi Bricksie.
Thanks for a super review!
This set is top class, and so like the lovely Tudor houses in Chester UK. All the little details are there, and show the rich imaginations of the designers. So many little touches that are just exquisite.

On a different note, the roof pieces on the Tudor house may be the colour Jose was looking for for the Venetian houses roofs.
I am actually excited about this and it will probably be my first modular set.
Ooh! I like this one, might have to save up and get it - once I get another shelf put up 😂
It is a very good looking and detailed modular building. The red roof in particular combines really well with the white and black tudor style walls. I'm not as impressed as you are with the interiors, it is good, but not as impressive as I've seen with other modulars.

I remember people commenting when the jazz club came out that it didn't have a certain "je ne sais quoi" well this was has that 100%
They achieved that angle on the bottom, where pub is. Would be way cooler, if they did the same on the first floor, and on the roof. And it would be absolutely the best modular if the would keep the same middle age style of timber wall and the roof for the second, blue building. I don't get why that one they made as 19th century neoclassical.
It's an eclectic style
Well I’m peanut butter and jealous! Great review Bricksie! Thanks for posting. Oh yeah, yes that minifig does look liKe Josee! 😂
Maybe in the mountain you could make a cave!! Just a thought🤔❤.
I'll be getting two of these
Maybe you can make a minifig of yourself and mrs bricksie and put the minigigs in the city😊
Such a beautiful building!
How was the build? I've never tried a bricklink design so interested in the quality of the instructions.
Fantastic
This is the new lego modular that comes out January 1st... it's not a bricklink design set!
@joce1275 thanks I might have missed that part. It makes a lot more sense then when Jordan was talking about printed pieces and repurposed or recolored pieces used in the build.
Great looking set
I dont normally do modular building but this is stunning looking. I may actuslly add this to my list to purchase. 👍
I love this. Great review. Can’t wait to get one. Looks like the coolest Modular yet. The price is perfect.
Can you show it next to other modulars 1 to 1 - like the Boutique Hotel
Watch stud city he put it next to other modulars to show that it fit's/looks perfect fine next to any modular.
Great review and you get really a magic smile
Time to plan a super sized version (before placing). 2x? 3x? 😊
I love the set😍😍😍😍
The fact Lego have released a modular pub makes the chances of Moe's Tavern becoming a thing one day a possibility, that and the Red Bull F1 cars being released as 18+ due to the unavoidable Red Bull sponsorship decals
I cannot wait to get my hands on this
I really hope they keep going with the different nationality designs.
It's a masterpiece
This is one of their best-looking modulars but already outdated and behind the times in terms of structural design and accessibility, thanks to what Funwhole has done with their recent theater and record store modulars.
This one looks so good. Just wish i had the funds for it when it comes out properly in January!
I love this! Modular I wish I was collecting them because I would so get this one.
Such an awesome set!!
Wish i could buy this today
Haberdasherys sell fabric and sewing supplies. Old fashioned shops that sell hats solely are called milliners
Why do people have issues with corner buildings? In Europe you almost Never have a long street without alleys... There are tiny streets, corners etc... You don't have the American checkerboard design where you have to walk 200m until you find the next corner.
Love it
So awesome
Where are you going to put it in your city??
Looks great! Still has a lot to live up to when compared to last year’s Museum.
I’ll that those tiles I could use them 🤞🏽
Great review!
I love it.
Perhaps you can place Tudor Corner next to the Venetian Houses and make a European quarter in your city. I feel like being an English pub, it deserves a cellar for storage, especially since you have mils-ed it.
It's certainly compatible with the Venetian Houses.
This set is going to be fantastic with a Light My Bricks Kit......
You need to make figures of you and Mrs Bricksie pushing a double buggy with the twins and stick it in the city.
You could make an international neighborhood with this and the Parisienne street.
Easiest day one purchase I will ever have made 😍
looks great
Really curious to see how you expand this one.
I'm not sure that it's soot "coming out of" the fireplace; surely it's too neat? My interpretation would be that he has a nice caithness stone hearth or similar, even if there is a sub-story with the chimney sweep.
Well the designer was very clear that was it….
@@samwalker8893fair enough. I’ve not seen/read anything the designer has said, but to me, it still looks like a stone hearth; soot would be messier.
@ oh ok, sorry, if you watch part 1 of bricksie video, the day before, the video before this he is interviewing the designer in person
I have a sunflower lanyard!
Finally Lego produce a modular construction that does not look like a New York construction at the end of the 18th century.....
End of the 19th century.
Reminds me a little of the Queen Bricktoria MOC
Hi bricksie

That's on Lego then. Also, this seems to be a very common mistake.
The irony is that your statement is correct for the U.K. In North America, however, a haberdashery is a men’s clothing and accessory store.
Looks like Chester in England, very well designed. Yoooo from Scotland 🏴
How did you mils plated it? I just see the bricks and on top the tiles? I'm super interested! :) thanks for your amazing videos!
Replace the hospital with this? Next to the new train station? City update soon??
Yes, there is a city update in my scheduled videos.
I wasn't going to buy it day one, but after watching your video I might have to
Hey Bricksie! Would you Mils plate Lego sets that aren’t going into your city? I have the X-Mansion and just want to display it but I like the look of the mils and would make it sturdier. Thoughts?!? Thanks for all the great content!
3396 doesn't come in Dark Bluish Gray - so are you planning to change that to another color?
Maybe next to asembley square
Ground floor is missing a sink 😂 for the toilet
I ma sorry to be negative, but I don't think it's fair to review a new set that has been modified (eg light grey sidewalk, black lamp post and mils plated)
Did LEGO finally stoped using stickers in the adult series?
Not another corner building there’s to many .. I put my on shelves and it’s not good can’t see the whole building
Every 3rd year is a corner building they just going eith there standard flow.
Agreed. Too many corners @@Bigdog1787
At least we’re getting another modular
Be grateful
I saw another reviewer show it right next to another corner modular and it actually looks pretty good, makes it look like there’s another little alleyway running between the buildings.
Great thumbnail

I don't think it's a good idea to change anything on the model before review. People should see exactly what's coming out of the box.
You are not showing all sides of the building...
2:27 say that again

Aye, should have had a bouncer on the door, a punter going through the window, someone pissing in an ally and another throwing up in the gutter 😂
