It still just blows me away that there are people on this planet that haven’t heard this music. I guess I’ve taken so much for granted. Thanks for bringing great music to the apparent masses of people who haven’t heard it. Thank you peace ✌️

The 1970’s - the decade of great tunes and musicality.

No autotune, no pro tools, all done on tape, real vocals, real musicians......real music.

I'll repeat the sentiments of some of your viewers, Black Water and China Grove

These are good tunes, but the Doobies' songs I like better: Black Water, China Grove, South City Midnight Ladies, Another Park Another Sunday. My favorites are the Patrick Simmons compositions.

Doobie Brothers were so professional sounding compared to a lot of bands of that era. They were incredibly popular. As everybody says - China Grove, Jesus is Just Alright and Black Water, which will be stuck in your head for days.

Black water is more musically adventurous - China Grove a straight banger

How can anybody not like the Doobie Brothers? All of their songs are bangers.

Ted Templeman produced all of the the Doobie Brothers' albums. He's a genius. He also produced Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" and all of the Van Halen albums, among others.

    Nice, mates.

Man - seeing these videos. Makes me realize how lucky we were to have these musicians playing on the radio every day. That was our medium. Radio. Soundtrack of our lives.

The Doobies during the Tom Johnston years(70-75) were one of the best boogie bands ever.

Wonderful to see these young men discovering the music I grew up with! The spectrum of styles that existed in the sixties and seventies was amazing.

“China Grove” always gets me to turn it up as loud as I can. Love that you are discovering great music. You two are adorable!! 😉
