All right, I have to draw the line when you say that buying these games is like saving up for retirement in the future. Why are you paying full price for these low tier pickups, these are games you would easily be able to get by thrifting, using OfferUp, and going to yard sales. Instead of paying full price you can literally be getting these games for 10 times less what you are paying. I've got to imagine that All the games that you showed in this video cost over $400, that is insane and not sustainable at all considering that most of these games you showed are pretty bad, also, what is the point of buying games you already have on other platforms that you have no nostalgia for or connection with? That just seems horribly wasteful of your time, space and money. Good luck with the retro game store!
I see your point and totally get what you mean. Most of the time I don't pick up the games unless I feel the prices are justified or I'm getting a deal. The retro place I've been going to mainly sells music and movies, so the games are usually significantly lower than what the value of the games typically are. I'm sort of half trying to grow my personal collection and half grow my inventory (a lot of my personal collection will most likely be on the shelves as well to be sold depending on how much inventory I have in the next few years). 360, Wii, and PS3 games in particular seem to be ones that are going for a lot lower than they ever were, and I've been taking advantage of that. If my guess is correct, they will shoot up in the next 10 years just like N64 and GameCube did. This specific haul was only around $200 for the GameCube stuff, which isn't actually terrible when considering there's some pretty note worth stuff in here. The only time I buy stuff that's significantly marked up is if it is something I REALLY want to own for myself. The chances are that it will be more valuable in the future anyway so I will pretty much just be getting my money back for that kind of stuff. No profit, no loss.
awesome stuff! Rampage destruction is decent
