Ich habe das Ovia seit 2 Wochen und bin begeistert.Das macht so richtig Laune damit zu fahren.
An extra 4 mph unrestricted may as well leave it restricted and save on the battery
It was on Level 2, not 5, which is why it wasn’t going its top speed. You probably know this by now though. 😅
I have a little Skyteam Monkey 125 that I carry around in my motorhome, a great piece of kit if you have a motorcycle license for around £ 1500.00. If you haven't then these are a good alternative but a bit expensive. Great video.

4.15pm Mark looks a great bike & quick. Can I say just one thing is, when you do charge up your new toy on mains electric, do it out side & not in doors just incase the batteries over heat also feel if they warmer or hot, keep a eye on your bike. Happy riding Mark.

Cyrusher gave me a new controller and a brake light for my Ovia, I dont know how you only get an extra 4 mph , when mine will do 30mph

Exactly, all they are doing is making out its OK to break the law. Lanes are still public roads so saying he can go a little faster because it's a quiet lane is just ridiculous.

I wouldn't go through all that water like they did. They are water resistant to a point but not totally waterproof. If you get the electrics wet you're going to be in trouble.

It's sad that UK regulations do not permit use of a throttle which was changed for all E-Bikes after Jan 2016 on public highways. Max power of 250watts 15.5mph/25kph when electric assist cuts out
With a throttle, you have more/smooth control of power assist, than a cadence/torque sensor on the the crankshaft/pedals. Especially setting off from junctions/traffic lights, with the assist power on max for instance.
I wish they would change the rules back to allow the use of a throttle on public highways. still restricted to current wattage/assist regulations.
Although I have seen many E- bikes on the streets/roads of towns and cities where the electric motors have been up to 1500watts (clearly with massive wheel hub motors), and being dangerously ridden, especially by the fast food delivery people.
Yes it's the few that ruin it for everyone else.
You are allowed a throttle as long as the power cuts out at 15.5 mph. I have a throttle on my e bike 250 watt. 48volt 24amp hrs. It's only to assist me to get moving not to get to 15mph. New laws coming in might change that so you can have a 500 watt motor.

It's all outdoors, u wouldn't get this in the caravan though, it's definitely Motorhome with a garage.

Thing with most E bikes its the weight to put in the van or even n a boot carrier

Yes it's heavy, so not very friendly for the caravan, but great for Motorhome. It was great fun 👍

Yes we tried a cheaper one recently, and it's true you get what you pay for. But it's a lot of money 👍
On sale at the moment for £1599, which is a more realistic price.
