Bass Fishing with a PowerBait Power Worm - Easy Bank Fishing!

  • Bank fishing for bass can be easy with a PowerBait Power Worm. My color of choice today is green pumpkin. With a simple Texas Rig I am able to catch 5 largemouth bass in about one hour. Walking up and down the bank and casting at cover is easy enough for anyone to try. I catch one by a barge, a couple on top of shallow rocks, another in a shallow cove and the last one back at the boat launch. Simply drag it along the bottom. Bass Fishing with powerbait is easy, and these power worms do great from the bank.

This video gave me the confidence to fish power worms to catch something bigger than a bluegill. Yesterday I checked out a new lake and despite muddy water caught a nice bass within 5 minutes. Today I tried it in a wildlife refuge down the street where I've never caught a bass. Within 5 casts I caught a snakehead. Thanks, I am never using a power worm in that spot again.

You can take a piece of stiff monofilament line and peg that worm to the Hook eye, it will keep the worm from riding up the line and your plastic baits will last longer. I learn that here recently because I had a problem with fish tearing up my plastic worms. Thanks for sharing the video and as always, Keep it Realistic.

I just had a HUGE and I mean a HUUUUUUGE bass absolutely CRUSH a about an 8 or 9 inch bluegill I was already working on getting reeled in. He slammed it at the top of the water after making a circle around it and swallowed it WHOLE. That was the most violent hit I've ever had. I actually even managed to have him on the line for about 15 seconds. I'm still shaking. It scared the shit out of me. It was LOUD.

Berkeley has, in my opinion, the best scent on their worms. It might make us gag, but the bass love it. I went for about 4 hours yesterday. Didn’t do much of anything, but did get some bites on a Tokyo rig, one I made myself (keeping it realistic!). The ones in the stores are expensive. Tenn. bass must love green pumpkin as much as Texas bass. Truly enjoy watching your vids.
If you go on this lake with your boat, be sure to fish those docks. If the fish are there, no better fun than catching bass under docks.
    That was some good fish!

So thanks to you RF next chance i get im gonna buy some berkley power bait. Also as a fisherman i reccommend you keep of pliers just because the pliers are gonna make it hell of a lot easier for you then without pliers. Overall you sold me on the powerbait thanks again

Powerbait, Yum dingers, etc all work well. Plus you don't have to feel bad if you lose a few. And those spawning carp are so annoying. Over here there were over a hundred spawning in a little area and it was the craziest thing I ever saw. They were jumping out of the water like tarpon, smacking into boats on the dock, getting stuck in reeds along the shore, etc. They definitely scare every fish away. Anyway, another nice vid. After getting skunked the last 2 times I can confidently say that catching anything is better than nothing and those bass are trophies compared to what I've had.
