When you get out in the country to fish, you have absolutely beautiful scenery to distract you if the fishing is slow. But as usual, you have fast action. Thanks for the great tips. Be blessed. My friend.
Thank you for the awesome video! I first saw your video yesterday when you posted it, and I had already planned to go to this "famous" spot on the Salt River this morning, so I decided to copy you and rig up one of my rods with a trout magnet jighead and a float. When I showed up, the water level was pretty high and my usual spot was underwater, so I did some scouting because there weren't many people. Saw some trout busting by the shore, and ended up crushing it with an orange mice tail without the head, just like in your video! I had limited time so I was only out there for 3 hours, but I caught 18 fish, 2 on the power egg part of the mice tail on the bottom, 2 on a spinner, and 14 on the power worm! Everything but the worms was a super flaky bite, just like you had. Thank you for showing such cool methods to catch trout that really work!
Oh my friend, you were not alone out there. The Salt River Squatch watched you all day. Nice video. Fun day looks like. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
🎣 first sure here, great video and great fish catching as well. Also there's another type of berkley power bait you can use as well and they are called power nymphs. size of them are 1 "/2 cm and they come in 12 to a bag plus they got like nine different colors give or take. I do catch some big brookies and brownies off of them.
Hell yea man! Just like fishing for trout here in NM. Though the stockies are usually better. If you like fishing trout and ever come over this way, there's FAT trout in the San Juan river. Misses and I are planning on moving to Flagstaff soon so watching your videos to get ready for some AZ angling :)
What I use is Pautzke fire worms which are garlic infused and you can smell it!! They come in a package with three different colors (red, pink, and natural worm) I’ve caught trout bouncing on the bottom, drifting, and just straight reeling like a spinner or jerking the rod tip on the way in,I’ve also caught smallmouth bass in rivers, largemouth,Guadalupe bass( a subspecies of the largemouth native to central, south and east Texas) crappie and perch (as we call any type of sunfish in the south) jigging of a marina.
@@TheFishinMagician20 they’re great and they’re more durable and stretchy than the power worms I’ve gotten them to fit onto up to a 1/8 ounce jig head with no problem
No Porter today? I guess I kinda got used to seeing you two fishing together.😂 Another awesome video bro. We killed it a few days ago at the Salt. To bad they're not stalking them big ones like they did last year. Tight lines bro
Its funny how quickly "trout bite anything" changes - especially with shiny flashy lures....you catch 'em in the mouth - then you catch the swipers - then you see follows to shore but no bite - then you don't see any. That is where having a nice color option like powerbait and Gulp! helps - you can fish the same thing but show it differently to change things up. Did you keep any - some of those beat up tail ones would be good eaters
I actually Go over that in the beginning of the video. Cast it out under a bobber or without, pull it toward you about a foot, let it sit for 5-7 seconds and repeat
@@TheFishinMagician20 also it’s not the only section that has a bridge i go fishing by the racetrack there’s a river under it and it’s the gila river but it it spits a little south from the salt and goes more north then back south but it’s a huge stretch over river it’s a little over fished but you can get some nice bass catfish carp bluegill and hella big talipa and some other species i think there’s some snook there aswell that have been introduced
I am going up there with my cousin. Who doesn’t fish. But still has fishing license. So I’m gonna keep eight fish and have four of them be his.😂 and then I’m gonna go home and cook for the rest of the family. W day
Careful about that man. Reg says when you catch your limit your done targeting that species. You can get a big ticket for that 😅 this is a good place to have your cousin catch some fish tho
Lose the bobber we catch a lot of trout San Diego area drop shotting lead heading always 2 lb test. Sometimes split shotting but they fish a lot better without a bobber. Trust me. Been doing this a long time too long. That's right old guy
I don’t even want to go back now, that day was perfect 🙌

So glad I live in north Idaho where the rivers and lakes don’t get crowded haha
We can’t all be that lucky lol
Cool and relaxing day on the water with no craziness and madness of the people! Caught fish that is all that matters!

Awesome! Good luck
This friggin guy found my secret river fishing spot and now everyone will go there!😮
“Secret” 😂☠️
Exactly, “secret” 😭. Quite literally one of the most pressured spots on the entire lower salt from Saguaro lake down.
I love stock trout in creeks and rivers! Meat tastes better and super fun!
You got that right!
Nice man! I thought I was being clever and got off work early on a Tuesday to try the bridge, it was chuck full
Shoot yea man it’s just crazy. We got lucky this day with the weather r

Ive been skeptical about scent, most of my catches have been without it, but every now and again ill add it. Probably your next video?
Nice fishing, I watch all your videos. Do you know how to get to this area I’m gonna go fishing with my dad

Always learning watching your videos bro👊🏼 What size jig head did you use or what size you recommend? Thank you.
Happy to hear it! I like 1/32 or 1/64
Good job man. You lucked out having nobody there. Sometimes it's combat fishing
Shoot 90% of the time it’s combat fishing. Even last year when it wasn’t as bad I never had it to myself
