Its cost same money for operating gas and electric
How many times a week do you do more than 300 miles a day? And it charges overnight night in your garage when needed. I have seen people lining up at gas stations and wasting 10-15 mins every week. People even wait for 30 mins at Costco stations to save few cents per litre. Or specially go to gas station at night to get checker rate (30-40 mins wastage). Cumulative wait time for charging EV is much less gas fill wait time over a year given 99% charge happens at home (with bonus of super cheap rate).
