Fantastic video! I see you recommend the Synology 1522+. I'm considering setting up disk bays 1-4 in RAID 1 for redundancy, giving me a total of 20TB across those bays (20tb x4). For bay 5, I want it to be a near real-time copy of the data from bays 1-4, will also add a 20TB drive. Is this configuration possible with the 1522+, and what RAID setup (or other configuration) would you suggest to achieve this? Thanks!"
on the WD element external drives, do they still include the encryption on the usb to sata board inside the drive? I've stuck with the BestBuy WD easy store drives if i'm not going to shuck them. In the past, those boards were prone to failing in the element drives leaving your data encrypted and inaccessible if you pulled the drive out and connected it to a computer.
