For years I could never figure out why I couldn't control my straight hair. It's only recently occurred to me it isn't straight hair behaving weirdly - it's wavy hair, and it's actually looking pretty good with the style I've had recently. I now know where I'm going with it.
When I want to feel nice about myself, I book an appointment and go to a British salon place: They always make you feel on top of the world by telling what a beautiful hair you’ve got, how they love the volume!! And whenever I’m on my high horse, acting a bit over confident, I go to an Indian beauty parlour: They will start by telling how coarse your hair is and how much split ends you’ve got... and while they are doing your hair, they randomly put in, “Do you want to also get your upper lip done?” And yes, I instantly fall back down to Earth ☺️☺️
When I was younger my hair was wavy, it used to tangle a lot and I would cry whenever my mum would put a brush through it. Eventually she got fed up with the stressful hair situation and chopped my hair off into a chin length bob 🤣 I had that bob with a full fringe until I was about 13 and it would always be frizzy and flick out at the ends after blow drying it. Around 13 i started to grow it out but this frizz insisted on staying there so I'd straighten it. Obviously this took its toll on my hair and it started to snap off. So from about the age of 28 I just used to blow dry it straight with leave in conditioner in it. I'm 36 now and I have mid length hair...it sits just under the bra strap around my back. I have what I called "fluffy hair" after I have blow dried it straight...I just leave it this way but it often gets quite knotty! I have had a whole life battle with my hair and I wondered if it is STILL wavy 🤔 I have tried to get my waves back using recommended products and although the waves are there, they usually end up dropping out halfway through the day and become frizzy and knotty so I always revert back to blow drying my hair straight 🙈 I'm so fed up with it! Can anyone recommend anything at all?! PLEASE
Oh you poor thing! I can't recommend anything because I'm the other way around, but I'm finding that knowing what my hair wants to do and working with it is working for me. I need to get it styled properly now, but at least we both know what we're working with now. Good luck to you.
Try using leave in conditioner after you shower. And use a light mouse. Try brush styling after you apply the products and scrunch. Learn to diffuse your hair or don't touch it and air dry and after it's air dried and the hair is completely dry and the products are locked then you can go in and scrunch a little to add some volume but don't scrunch too much. It may be that your hair is damaged. Try cutting it if it or or use good conditioner and leave in conditioner to repair and hydrate. Hope this helps.
I always tought my hair was straight, but lately i keep seeing these types of videos and im starting to think that maybe i have wavy hair. can you confirm? 😅 1. my hair is ALWAYS frizzy. i tried every conditioner, with straight hair routines but nothing works 2. i always dry my hair with a hair dryer (which makes the frizz worse) and when my hair is dry, it has some very slight waves i have to agree. but when i wet my hair its straight. it only has slight waves when its dry. i never tried a wavy hair routine because hair products cost alot so i wanna be sure that i have wavy hair before buying anything
I was actually born with straight hair but I ruined it when I was little😭 So it became wavy but it looked damaged so right now I am following this curly hair routine Does this make my hair curly or wavy?

The first model’s hair is exactly what my hair looks like when I just air dry it. I thought it was just frizzy.
This didn't help me, I so wished that you guys would've specified the different types of wavy hair (2a vs 2b or 2c ).
I was actually born with straight hair but I ruined it when I was little😭
So it became wavy but it looked damaged so right now I am following this curly hair routine
Does this make my hair curly or wavy?
I’ve always wanted curly hair but it’s impossible cause I had 1A which 2% have..
I got loose & tight waves
So my hair is deep wavy .... I have a deep S shape
Jesus love you all so much for real❤️✝️
