How to style wavy hair using the Effortless Waves styler in 5 easy steps:
Step 1: After your regular wash routine and leave-in conditioner, section your hair. This allows even distribution and the time to focus on each section of hair at a time. This will help to enhance your natural texture.
Step 2: Apply the Effortless Waves styler one section at a time using the fine mist spray and rake through your wavy hair with your fingers.
Step 3: Scrunch your hair to add bounce and encourage your natural wave pattern to form. You can combine the Effortless Waves styler with another styling product like a Curlsmith gel to style your wavy hair if you desire a stronger hold.

Step 4: Once applied throughout your hair, diffuse your wavy hair using the pixie method to hold up the waves and give it support as it dries. Once finished you’ll be left with effortless bouncy and light waves. You can also air-dry if you wish to or don't have access to a diffuser however a diffuse will help give it that extra bounce.

My hair's texture has changed. When I was young, it was as stick straight and slick as could be. Getting it to hold a curl back then took WAY too much hairspray. Now, as I'm in my early 60's, I've recently discovered that my hair has waves to it. I've ALWAYS loved curly hair and never thought I'd ever have it. Perms just never looked like real curls. So now I'm thrilled to see that I might be a wavy girl and have ordered some of your products to try out. I'm sure your website says...but are your products safe for color treated hair? I currently dye mine a gorgeous deep red, 5A, and am loving the sass of being a redhead. Funny, I was born red, went pale blonde as a child, then it turned strawberry blonde in high school and college, then began the grays about 5 years ago...and now I'm dyeing it red. First time I've ever dyed my hair, and I love it. Thanks for your beautifully done videos, they take a lot of planning and you have all done an excellent job with your vids.

Hello can you use this effortless waves for refresh the next day if you have the gel on your hair too from the day before? I put some of this product on top of the gel it went extremely sticky

We'd recommend using the Moisture Memory Reactivator to refresh as sounds like you have enough gel from wash day!

Hi Victoria, we'd recommend using the Moisture Memory Activator to refresh as you can use it on dry hair. You can use Effortless Waves to refresh but we'd recommend re-wetting your hair to activate the hold within the Effortless Waves spray.

Yes it would work however you may need to add an extra layer of gel if your hair is more coarse. We'd recommend using this with the Shine Gel or In-Shower Style Fixer :)
