What if the Ant connection on the TV is the same size as the coax?
The antenna coaxial cable will likely screw onto the connector on the rear of your TV.
Which should I have this antenna on bypass or amp?
If the amplifier has a 2-way PREAMP / BYPASS switch, it will let you adjust the amplifier for different TV signals. The PREAMP position uses the preamp to help with incoming broadcast signals. The BYPASS position turns all amplification off. Most TV channels will perform better with this switch left in the PREAMP position. However, if a channel is not providing the performance you expect, try watching it with this switch in the BYPASS position to see if that makes a difference. Make sure you perform a new channel scan through your TV menu settings after any time the switch is moved.

The brightness is a function of your TV and not the RCA Antenna.

i bought a samsung smart TV at a sale, and have followed these instructions. but the antenna isn't connecting. connected to the wall and the TV; plugged in the little black thing, and the TV turns on but it's not connecting to the antenna. maybe something is not right with the wall connector. your directions were great, though, nice and easy....thanks
Have you performed a Channel Scan or Auto Program as noted in the manual of the antenna? This is the most often over looked step after connecting the antenna to your TV.
Does your company still make adapters for old dipole "rabbit ears" antennae? And/or do you still make, "rabbit ears" antennae?

What if the wire is excess? Do it need to cut?
Not at all!! If you cut it, you would not be able to access the cable!!
How do I scan for channels with only antenna
Unfortunately, each TV manufacturer has a different process on how to get to the channel scan function within the TV menu settings. Please refer to your TV owners manual for further help.

Yes todays broadcast signals are now digital. If your TV does not have an digital "ATSC" tuner built-in, you will need to purchase a digital converter box. You can purchase any brand of digital converter box from any local or online retailer.
It connects to the net from another galaxy.

@@fairmaiden6472 I would check to see if your TV does indeed have a digital tuner built-in and also check the FCC website to see the available broadcast towers in your area.

On most televisions, after physically connecting the antenna to your TV, you can use the physical buttons found on your TV to enter into your TV's menu system to perform the Channel Scan and change channels.
