This has been the best information I've found on how to connect my antenna. In fact it's been the only one that has given only exactly what I needed and no more. Clear, precise.
Got straight to the details of how to get the TV to recognize connected antenna. Lots of very general information none of which included the steps you showed. You nailed it perfectly. THANK YOU 👍
Thank you for the explanation of this, much appreciated and no one really talks about it. To me, this simplified way is worth it to get a Roku TV since I already have a good tv antenna on roof. I could stay in the Roku environment to watch OTA or Streaming Channels. Wish they had tv tuners in their other streaming devices but they dont!
Thank you! So frustrating that you have to look up a TH-cam just to do something as simple as watch Live local TV. The option should be clear as day on the Roku interface or remote.
Can this be done on a Vizio TV? I just want to be able to watch the regular 2-13 local channels. It shouldn’t be difficult to do this, I don’t understand why it has to be. The free channels offered with vizio are horrible. It should be clear as day regardless of what TV someone bought. I have a brand new TV and can’t even do this.
@@MrDboydeluxe I did it over the phone and they did it with no hassle. I expected to get transferred to the "retentions dept" and if they Had offered me a good deal to stay I might've taken it, but they didn't.
When I chose the "Live TV" channel, I wasn't given the option to "Set Up Live TV". Could that be because I have an older Roku device? It's 3 or 4 years old.
Mine doesn’t show the strength on the bottom left. I just want ABC to watch all day night football. Hundreds of channels except the one I want. I don’t get why this is so hard. I have zero local news channels either. Frustrating.
I have an HCL Roku and following your instructions step by step I find no live TV options or the screen with the different selection logos on it. Antenna is selected and indicated as I work my way through. Wonder if an HCL brand is totally different. I get some cable channels but only 2 local ones. All I want TV for any more is local broadcast football. Other wise it will sit.
It found 5 channels. I went back to live tv and it shows 1 of 40 stations from all around the country. Where are the 5 stations that it found. I followed your instructions.
Yeah the guy does a great job but when I go to live TV it says live TV requires a network connection please check your network connection and try again
Vhs tapes still more easy and more free which also because you don't have vhs tapes don't mint other people don't have vhs tapes everything proven people like myself have 400 vhs tapes plus 5 VCR players in my house plus 1 blue ray player
@@CanItAlreadyThese instructions were great but my antenna didn't find any channels. I did research prior to purchase and I live in a strong area. I'm not sure why I can't get ANY channels 🤔

This was very helpful. I even names mine Antenna to identify it on home screen.
Thank you. The OTA picture quality is lot better than what I was paying Comcast for. I should've cut the cord long ago.
I'm at the brink with Comcast/Xfinity for financial reasons, how much of a run around do they give you when cutting cable? Gotta prepare myself!

What can I do if it scans but doesn't pick up any channels?

Thank you so much. It helped a lot.
Does this work for getting channels 3 and 4?

It doesn’t work why ? I tried multiple different things buh
What doesn't work? Is it that your antenna isn't finding channels?
