Same. They look like fr’s like mine. I want to see more skating without a 20 Lb pack on, one thing I’ve been slacking on is backward crossovers but finally enjoying backwards skatin!
You were so close to a prime opportunity! A few blocks from where you were is the free ferry to Governors Island. Lots of music, cultural, and art events there throughout the summer. But most of all it's the perfect place for biking and skating because there are no cars to worry about. Bring a picnic and have a great time. The island closes early, but that's perfect because Wall Street and downtown empties out after dusk. Check out Leon Basin's "Wizard of Wall Street". Gorgeous skate film. And the 3x as long extras and outtakes he released this year is definitely worth watching too. Hope you have a skate along the Hudson or East River coming up. Although those are long stretches where you might have more fun flying on bigger wheels. Most of the NYC waterfronts are very nice and worth visiting. Also could have skated across the Brooklyn Bridge, gotten some highly regarded pizza among tourists, and skated the Brooklyn waterfront with beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline.
Dude, I just started watching your videos, and now I see you were skating in my home city, what a coincidence! XD Not sure if you're still here, but if you are you need to skate Randall's Island, it's a hidden gem for rollerblading and usually only filled with a handful of locals during the week. I also got a chuckle out of you thinking the Bull was going to be farther away than it was, even my friends that have lived in NYC for years are baffled when I say I can blade Manhattan top to bottom in just over an hour, the island is so much smaller than most people realize, but there's so much to see around every corner, it makes up for it!
Haha I actually do have about 9 tutorial videos, you can find them in the description in the playlist section. And yeah I like that idea I think it could be useful! I do have a video on what I bring with my on my city skating sessions
yes I film in 30fps but when i render the video after addint the intro, outro, and audio I export as 60fps. It doesnt actually make it real 60fps unfortunately.
Just wondering, how early do you shoot these videos? Im always so suprised, because of the low taffic and not that many people arround. Feels like less traffic then in most medium size citys in my area . (edit : ok you just said 9.30 in the morning. That feels late to me xd)
@@Skating_Squid For a major city I thought it is :) Anyway, love your content, making me kinda jealous that I can't skate right now because of the bad weather. Really looking forward to some dry weather (might take another week)
The Bull is significant because it represents the so called bull market. This is when the stock market trends upwards and most investors make a profit. By the way do you edit out that camera thing you appear to be holding? Also vid is awesome.
6:54 that dog doesn't like wheels. "Oh my god, HE'S ON WHEELIES! NO! IT' A CAR FOR FEET & I HATE BOTH!"

since you were on the financial district the bull signifies bullishness, bullishness means business is going up
Good to know thank you! 🦑

How are you skating so smoothly on Manhattan roads!?
