Great video. I was so frustrated because some of my chrome powders didn't work. I didn't even think the time could be an issue, because the other powders worked perfectly. Thank you very much for making this video
Thank you from Australia 🇦🇺 we are still in lockdown October 2021, am trying to do my own nails at home. Got some hard chrome powders and got so many different results I thought my nail lamp was just dodgy - perhaps it’s just the curing time - thanks again!!!
Thank you very much ❤ No other video explained that it is the cure time what makes the difference. I was so upset for not getting the mirror finnish. ❤
is there a way to make the chrome actually look like a mirror (no matter the color) that doesnt look like its an old mirror or has glitter on it? like i tried everything and iit always looks like theres glitter....
This is amazing👍👏 What if we want to use chrome for design and rub it straight on paint gel, does it need top coat ? And what about curing time, the same as no sticky top coat?
Hi, very interesting your video is the first time I saw someone talking about the time.. but I have another question, i had been trying with differents polish of different branch, but still isn't work for me... so if you could answer and questions I would be grateful.. 1. Your black base is of gelish? 2. After cure your black base.. did you clean the sticky layer? 3. After cure your top coat, did you clean the sticky layer? or you applied the pigment on the sticky layer? Thanx and excellent contribution..
You get better effect with no wipe top coat, she does not wipe as far as I know, she just applied the chrome. If you top coat at the end and it has a sticky layer you wipe. You only ever wipe at the very end because that sticky layer is for all the layers to stick together.
If using a no wipe top coat and you are using chrome you do as in the video, experiment with curing times to get the effect you want.also if you are top coating twice with a no wipe top coat you cure the first layer 30 secs then second layer 60 secs as it has better adhesion.
I tried the black undercoat but I just didn't like it & as it turned out, I didn't need it... I use a clear base coat & cure it but then I go over it with regular nail polish remover on a cotton ball, one swift wipe, then put on the powder & rub it in for that mirror finish, topcoat & cure then add a second coat of the powder if needed. I don't know why but something about rubbing the regular remover over the base then topcoat before applying the powder seems to make it go on better. I also dip my finger in the powder then rub it on. It makes a bit of a mess but when done it really looks great :)
Babycakes, you are an ABSOLUTE DOLL!!!! No other method has ever worked for me to get the mirror shine, but yours!!! 😱 I did it exactly as you described, and I stared with my jaw on the ground, in total disbelief, because I have never seen this mirror shine ever before on my nails! 🫢 I have tried countless methods, but nothing has ever worked for me except for YOUR method. I feel like all of my chrome powders are going to come to life now, thanks to you! I wish I could give you the biggest hug ever! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU….SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! 🥰❌⭕️❌⭕️ You need to make a video and show people your method because so many people are still suffering with the glitter look instead of the mirror look . You are just awesome! 🎉🎉🎉
12/28/2023 Hello Ana hru? New sub i had no idea chrome powder been out. I'm looking at your video 6yrs old. I thought this was something new. Sending Love from Chicago Smooches 😘
I've noticed that different types of lamps and different top coats need varied cure times. I use a flourescent UV lamp with Born Pretty no wipe top coat and cure time is 1 minute and 30 seconds for a perfect chrome finish. Anyone else have any other combo hints?
Quick and to the point, thank you!!! Others do a 30mnt video for the same info.
This was super useful! I love how you systematically changed one variable; the results were very clear!
Great video. I was so frustrated because some of my chrome powders didn't work. I didn't even think the time could be an issue, because the other powders worked perfectly. Thank you very much for making this video
Wow.. thank you I never realized how time changes the effects that much.. great video I think 30 second was my favorite 💙

this was amazing! I never knew the time could make such a big difference.
me neither. had no clue. definitely was worth watching. I shall like
Fantastic explanation of using the one product - I will try this. Thanks for sharing xx
This is what I learned too. I had to cure my top coat for ten seconds to get my chrome results I wanted.
Thank you very much ❤

hey, thanks for your work 🌷
I'm not sure - this is a no wipe top coat, right?
Do you need to apply with the gel nail polish or just the regular one is okay too ?🙏🏻
i mean it can work on regular polish too but then you have to wait for it to dry completely before applying the powder
Hi! Didn’t catch if you’re using base or top coat before the chrome
At 2:26 she mentiones top coat, so I guess you're supposed to apply the pigment on the top coat

is it possible to do this with air dry polish and not gel?
do you have to use gel befor you use the crome powder? or can i use regular polish? I would like to use it on my model car buildings

does the gel have a tacky layer when cured or not?
Wow - I just got some chrome powders and couldn’t figure out why mine looked super sparkly - which is nice but not mirror.
How do you remove the gel from your nails after it's been cured?
My powders always rub really good after 60 sec cure!
How would you do that on a tumbler with epoxy. I love the chrome look but can’t get it to shine on a tumbler
Does it matter what TYPE of light you’re using, for time differences? And how hard do you rub?
This was very helpful! Thank youu
Glad it was helpful!
@@Nailcou Out of curiosity, can you use normal Nail Polish plus a Gel Top Coat?

what were the tools being used in this video?
Can we use this chrome powder on eyeshadow or it will be dangerous ?
I don’t think so, but the opposite will definitely work, you can use eyeshadow for nail art
This was great! Soooo helpful! I will try it 😉😘❤️
