they just came out with an in-depth action plan to fix the lackluster elements of the DLC which is very nice. it seems to me that it was rushed and that they want to fix the mistakes they made with it. also, risk of rain 2 and skylanders... are you an alternate version of me or something lol
the dlc punishes you for looping with that new late game elite making with the "nuh uh" ability that reverses all your damage you did to the monster onto you. Pretty much passing one shot protection since its damage over time, and there's no good counter to this elite either you just gotta run away from it, or just pray no enemy is in circle
Looping was already a bad idea on eclipse but I sweat they've made it so much worse with the new update, I swear they've made the enemies stronger, which is probably a result of the director AI
Honestly I haven't had too much of an issue with twisted enemies. Aa long as you have a pretty decent build yeah you'll take unavoidable damage but it's unlikely it'll end the run. That being said in no reality does the twisted elite idea work in ror2, unavoidable damage is just not a good mechanic, if it was a kind of fireball that tracks you as long as your in line of sight of the twisted elite it would be fine. You hurt enemies within the orb and then fireballs are sent at you that track you, it forces you to run behind cover but you can indeed avoid it. It makes for an elite that doesn't just force you to take damage bur still forces you to be careful. I think guilded elites are a lot worse than twisted because unless you have an absolute god run they'll 1-2 shot you while it takes 5 years for you to kill them because some guilded elites have more hp than other bosses and even other elite bosses, it's so fucking stupid how much health they have. A guilded stone golem SHOULD NOT have more hp than stone titan. The 3 times damage makes pests, elder lumarian's, clay templar's, apothecary's, gup's, worms, mushrooms all basically just become enemies that can now kill you before you can even react with little to no wiggle room. Now 3 times damage is fine I guess but 6 times the health basically makes it feel like every single elite is a teleporter boss and that's not even mentioning guilded elite teleporter bosses basically require an amazing run to not get absolutely decimated by.
You forgot to mention that there's also an Item Blacklist mod that lets you keep the SoTS stages but you can just throw away every single bad dlc item out of the loot pool :]
I hated the dlc because when i tried to play it with friends the lightning on the false son map would only target me and would instantly kill me no matter what
I don't think it is seeker being broken at 13:37 (Although I have encountered a scenario where I couldn't get past 5 stacks of tranquility) I'm pretty sure what happened here was that you were revived by Bottled Chaos activating the effects of Seed of Life
that makes sense, however there is something wrong with tranquility because I had another run with friends that I didn't record where I lost it even though power elixir activated, so I think theres still something wrong with it on the backend
also a bug i don't know if it has been adressed by anyone but if you have seed of life and many gestures, going to the next stage it'll somehow consume it even without you dying

If gilded enemies gave like 10x gold then the might be a decent addition.
apparently their aspect is crazy good since it gives you money on hit, but I've never gotten it outside wake of vultures so I'm not sure
