    Damn, I have been playing for a year and I guess I never put all of this together. What a great tutorial!

      Thanks Jason. I like to improvise within the theory to help come up with ideas for songs.. More coming soon.

    Thank you so much. This was great. I have really been considering buying a hand pan but want to be able to play some traditional songs like Imagine or Hallelujah. I found you easy to understand and you have a calm and patient manner which is what I really need. Much appreciated!!😊

    Does it work on hubcaps, too? Never knew about the handpan. Thanks, good to "see" you, Thomas. You are a patient teacher.

      Ha. Yes. It’s just a finely crafted hubcap which I use to play back in the Rhythmic Opera days.

    hi ! thanks for the tutorial. what is harder for me is that I have a 17 (16+ding) notes Tacta E Kurd handpan, I don't know all the chords yet. is there a way to look up the scale and have all the chords for that scale ?

    • @HandpanMusings
      @HandpanMusings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes thats a different handpan than most. I would put a little sticker and label each note on the handpan and then start small. Tacta should have the breakdown online. You can find the chords once you do this and pay special attention to the first and fifth note since they will be your foundation. Good luck

    Hola como estas? Quiero agradecerte el enfoque y la apertura a trabajar con la teoría. Por suerte poseo un handpan similar a éste pero en tonalidad mayor, Do mayor.
    Pero mi enfoque musical es desde la dirección opuesta complementaria. La idea de que es en do y no en sol... do es tónica y sol dominante

    I’m a bit confused to what scale to buy my first handpan, which scale you recommend for first handpan?

    I feel like you should've used a more normal tuned instrument like one in C major or something
