That is following their journey from the start till now & then. See the growth of the girls, the obstacles, glorious happy moments & more. They deserve much more if SM just push the promotion & market them the same way as NCT or Aespa. They will surely blow up. the way that all of the members have such a distinct voices but when they harmonised ughh its sound soo good, oh and also yes red velvet do their own background vocals,layering and adlibs 🤭
most of the ad libs are done by wendy, seulgi, or joy (after getting used to their voices it gets easier to pick out who is who in the background), but their chorus harmonies are usually always a 5 woman job :) in your free time if you want you can look at the producers of their songs talk about how their voices are so distinct, it’s a really awesome process (mono tree doing “ladies night” by them is an amazing video)

Out of respect I won't state who I believe have the best vocals all individual but when Red Velvet sing as one it's unparalleled. I wish I can listen to The Red album for the first time again. That album was on repeat for me for so long and those 10 songs were the only songs that i was listening to. Still one of my fave kpop albums of all time. Also, a lot of adlibs that you'll hear in RV songs, most of the time it'll be Wendy. But of course Seulgi n Joy will serve their adlibs n high notes too. Personally, I think Wendy is one of the best kpop vocalists in general and I LOVE vocalists so I don't say that lightly lol. I remember when the staff played it randomly during their anniversary live last year, all the members had cute and precious reactions to it. Oh btw, what you heard from The Red album are just tiny snippets to what the album is known for. Its largely recognized as wendy's masterpiece as she went crazy with her vocals here and this is where she started to cement herself as the voice of 3rd gen.
