we reached the most divided opinion on red velvet bsides. I'm not surprised to see ppl recommending other bsides but this whole album is one of if not the most complete album in kpop. Every single one is a masterpiece and most of them are rnb which no one else can compare to red velvet. Also I really suggest the concert ver. of Kingdom Come, it's magical.

In all honesty, the song choices aren’t bad. (At this point, do we really think we’re getting bad songs from RV?) But I see why people have divided opinion about ‘About Love’. As a Reveluv, we all know the other 2 other branches of government within the album. But ‘About Love’ has always been so underrated and I am thankful that it is getting its spotlight and love in this reaction. And we all know that this entire album from ‘Perfect Velvet’ to ‘The Perfect Red Velvet’ is such a classic and a masterpiece and every song deserves to be praised. If you really wanted them to react to the other b-sides, let’s just hope or wish for another week I guess or an album listening party, whether here on their YT channel or in Patreon.
Red Velvet is the group that made me hit the brakes and pay attention to kpop. They're a brilliant group; they're one of only a few artists who are so talented and hard-working that their performance elevates (and sometimes overshadows) SM's excellent production. There's no wrong list of songs to pick by them - everywhere you look in their discography there is something interesting, weird, fun, touching, or technically masterful to enjoy. Don't give a second thought to the people complaining about the song selection. Real fans are thrilled to see you coming to love the group by any path.
The Perfect Red Velvet is literally that. Any song left off would be a crime. You should be praised for managing to squeeze 4 songs out of one album. You'll listen to the others on your own. "Perfect 10" is my personal favorite off this album, but this album also has "Peekaboo" and "Bad Boy" - that tells you how iconic this album is.

It's funny how reactors separate "production" from "vocals". There's no separation. Vocal production is the main part of the production. In Kingdom Come, is not like the production is simple but the vocals are great. The fact is the production of the song is great because the vocals were the main theme of the work, so the minimal instrumentation is minimal on purpose, letting the vocals take the center stage it deserves.

I'm not surprised you enjoyed Kingdom Come in particular. When I saw the fancams of them performing it at their La Rouge concert I couldn't click fast enough! Seulgi and Wendy's runs on that song really stand out to me, and the 3 piece suits they wore...🤯The only other songs I have wanted them to perform live just as much as KC is Body Talk and I Just - here's hoping that they will in the future!

Kingdom Come is legendary. There are too many good songs to choose from but that one definitely makes every list. I'm glad they chose it for you in particular because Seulgi is your bias, Esosa, right? At least seems like she will be? And her ad libs on that song are perrrfeeection. Sometimes the visual and the vocals at once is just.. .tOO MUCH hahaha :D About Love is definitely a favorite of mine, but this album is one of the most choice albums soooo - I love that they gave you a more uptempo song from that album, too. Oh my.... there really is nothing wrong with the choices because that is what the recommender liked and they got the most likes for it during the choosing process. But I do understand the fights when it comes to RV B-sides though, I'm in twitter after all and it's always a bloodbath there when it comes to choosing the best RV b-side because they don't just try a genre.... they OWN it. It's because Red Velvet's music is so diverse and different people resonate with different things. That's why I always say, even if you don't like their title track because it's not your type of music, then listen to their b-sides... you might not like everything but you'll always find something that's right up your alley. These girls are no joke there is a reason why they are called Vocal Queens (with Mamamoo) like the Rappers of the Group are crazy vocalists as well like I sometimes mix up Irene with Wendy and then Yeri is one of the most underrated idols her Vocals are legit like Cotton Candy, and then Joy is like a Disney Princess! By the way a lot of the high notes and adlibs are mostly done by Wendy but some of the other Members do them as well like in Kingdom Come half of them were done by Wendy and the other half was Seulgi, About Love was mainly Wendy I'm pretty sure, and Time to Love and All Right are done by all of them pretty much! I was like, having a hard and dark (veryverydark) time when that album released I was alone, too much worries and honestly I was depressed and stressed out from everything. but that song made me happy so I always listened it. KINGDOM COME - a magnum opus of RV's songs
when i first heard kingdom come i thought it was good but the instrumental was very repetitive and i couldnt completely concentrate since i was at school and that was a MISTAKE. later i realized this entire song relies on the vocals and melodic changes to make it that special, and theres not that many songs like that these days. its just one of those that needs you full attention to fully appreciate its beauty!!
