She wrote this entire album for her son, to explain how she felt in her marriage, why she left his dad, how she handled it, why she got married to begin with (they were both stupidly young), and to ask him to "go easy on (her)" when he grows up and figures it out.
I was thinking about that while listening and it got me in the feels. I was 20 when I had my son. His dad and I are divorced so it got me.
@@Teresa-xq5ut I can really appreciate your comment. I've been down that road. I'm 70 yrs old now and Adele made me reflect back too my 19 yr old self. Had to quit college, 1 kid and a marriage. It ended in divorce after 17yrs and 3 kids. Looking back I was just too young, and listening to her song is painful but cathartic (tears) at the same time.

Apparently she wrote this song for her son, her and her husband got divorced which broke up her family and has been really hard on their son.. so she hopes he will take it easy on her, until he's old enough to understand what happened. So sweet, she's an angel.
I've seen her live 3 times now, Glastonbury Wembley and Manchester, my friends and I all sat when the news broke she was going on tour and tickets went up for sale, so we picked these 3 venues as England is where I live and if we got lucky to get through we went for 4 tickets my other friend was a nurse on night shift so she was asleep, but we all 3 managed to get tickets for all those venues and we went to all of them. I love this woman she hits me in my feels. Not many can did that, but home town glory and Rumour has it are two of my fav tracks.

Awesome review/reaction #Easyonme is actually for her son, explaining to him why she had to give up and go with a divorce. She is simply asking him to be easy on her with her decision for her own happiness despite the consequences her son may come around. It explains well in the 2nd verse.

She even got her ex-husband a house right by hers so he could have the best of both parents.
