It's due to prosperity. They have more opportunities. Not saying the artists are not talented, but we don't know what kind of talents we lose everyday in underdeveloped or third world countries. It boils down to classism at the end of the day.

If it's still on TH-cam, in my country we have the Brit Awards, were our stars get awards and over sea artists as well, Adele was on stage with her pianist who has been with her from the start and that was it, just those two and you could have heard a pin drop I have never seen an audience so quiet. It is without doubt the one moment that catapulted her into superstar mode and she's been there ever since. Adele sings songs we can all connect with.
This vocal track came from her songwriting session with Dan Wilson. They spent 2 days writing and recording a demo for her record label with Dan Wilson playing the piano on the demo. After she later recorded it again in the studio with full orchestration, Adele & her label decided to use the demo track vocal because of its rawness & emotion impact.
I am truly baffled by this reaction. How you can live on this planet and not know who Adele is? All her songs are incredible. She has one of those voices that everyone likes. In this case, I've never been a fan of this genre, but I do know and listen to Adele. I insist, nothing with life style. For example, many people is reactioning to Queen songs for first time (and are around 30/35 years old...), some of them says that they never heard about them or at least Freddie. Do they live in a jar or not?

Caitlin Seaton Her version of "Skyfall' seems to amount to the word 'crumble' being repeated so often it sounds silly. Not a patch on 'Goldfinger' or 'You Only Live Twice' or many others.

If you don’t like the song, that’s fine, just don’t have an utterly hypocritical reason.

I've grown up with listening to Adele's music. I mean this girl was everywhere. Her songs where blasting on the radio and no car ride was complete without Adele. I find it so fascinating that some people don't know of her existence. Love your reactions!
Oh, her version of “Skyfall” is the best James Bond song , period! Just incredible!
Caitlin Seaton Her version of "Skyfall' seems to amount to the word 'crumble' being repeated so often it sounds silly. Not a patch on 'Goldfinger' or 'You Only Live Twice' or many others.
@@magloyd4907 oh yes, because saying one word twice in the chorus (for a whopping total of 6 times in the ENTIRE song) is ridiculous and saying some form of “gold” 15 times in the same song (Goldfinger) is better and “dream” 6 times in the same song (You Only Live Twice) isn’t the same amount of ridiculous. If you don’t like the song, that’s fine, just don’t have an utterly hypocritical reason.

Absolutely beautiful song and have always loved her voice. A great song of hers is Rolling in the Deep...it's a little more up tempo but she doesn't disappoint, her vocals are amazing!!!
There is a clip of her singing live, with just the pianist to accompany her. I think it’s the Jools Holland show (Later with Jools Holland). Her performance is perfection.
