I know I'm a bit late but if you notice the triangle is upwards and downwards, first of all you find out that the triangle that's missing is pointing upwards as that pattern is easy to see, then if you notice the position of the square, it's moving from top left to bottom right and then top right to bottom left then bottom righ which means the one wee need has to be top left so it's not moving anticlockwise as theyre trying to make you think, it's crossing the only one with triangle pointing upwards with a square top left is D

If the reasoning for them being "both the same" is that they dont touch surface then D should be the answer because subject is not specified (which what? , and if you say its which of those in the choices then you still have an issue due to concept of caterpillar and elephant). You might also say that if you consider this question as an amount of ink that was used to print out the object then the elephant is more heavy than any specified object. You can also say that everything weights the same because this is actually in space and gravity is not defined. This kind of questions are idiotic. Not to mention the author said that they are "ON" the seesaw. You cant be on something without affecting the thing or in this specific situation touching the seesaw. If you say that his speech should be considered to enrich the meaning behind the question then you will have an issue as mentioned above.
