The thing that really ticks me off with the "Nissan is dying" thing, is that people seem to say it like it excites them. Nissan has some awesome vehicles, Armada and Frontier are fantastic. Who would want to see them disappear?
It's even more annoying when you're talking about a Frontier and they say Nissan transmissions suck! You know why they're saying it and they don't. People hear things, then just stay ignorant and $%## out of their mouth forever. Similar to people saying Toyota always has been and always will be the most reliable. In fact, it's often the same people saying both... FANBOYS!
I’m on the “other side” of the flush debate. I have more people in my circle that won’t simply drain and replace filter/pan. The two transmissions I’ve seen changed filters on both went kaput (admittedly one was already bad and wasn’t helped). The other was good before and went bad later. It was an older fleet vehicle and we replaced it with a newer one without diagnostics. I’ve had one transmission flushed and it has done well for a year and something like 13K miles. Maybe replacing all the fluid instead of a few quarts and flushing the magnetized particles off sensors is better? Maybe, it’s always going on come down to “luck” and usage. 🤷♂️ I know it’s a small sample size, but it’s my experience.
In my opinion, Nissan will not go out of business, they will continue to change by taking any and all options available for continued operation. I would NEVER flush vehicle fluids. Follow factory recommended maintenance procedures through mileage or time constraints, although if the factory recommends oil changes more than 5,000 mile intervals I personally would do them no more than every 5,000 miles.
Toyota is literally the number 1 automaker in the world lol. They're not in trouble, in 2023, Toyota sold 11,230,000 vehicles world wide. Please stop thinking only the US market exists, Toyota sells the Hilux outside the US which outsells the Tacoma and Tundra combined.

Not to mention the tech they have invented on the GTR that has been used by every other manufacture.
Honda and foxconn want to buy nissan.
Why is the Armada fantastic? It literally is a twin turbo V6 and it costs a shit load of money.
@@westcoastplinkin6559 that model isnt out yet. The last one had a reliable transmission and v8
Thank you for all the updates on different vehicles. Great job, Jason! 👍🏻
@@ronhaynes1532 thanks

Yeah im not a fan of doing flushes....its a death sentence for a lot of transmissions.
I do like doing a drain and fill with a new filter.
well well, another company turns to ZF to make their transmission
