Excellent and very useful video. The see-through view enables you to check under your car and see if you've pulled into a disabled or parent and child space. This is a useful feature. In other countries they have an app to enable the 360 camera to act as a dash cam. this would be so useful here and could lower insurance premiums. I really hope they'll bring this feature to UK specced cars. Also wish we had seat ventilation in the UK. I had this on a previous Niro and found it excellent in the summer.
The dash cam feature sounds really useful!
Thanks mate,
25kWh /100km, mine is at 14.2.
A demo car gets thrashed !
Hey, thanks for commenting - I think you missed the units on the screen. The car showed 25kWh/100miles which is 4.0mi/kWh or the same as 15.53kWh/100km.
14.2kWh/100km from your car is the same as 4.38mi/kWh
Thank you. Very useful. After the recent software update I am able to connect my iPhone 12 with bluetooth and charge wireless. Excellent feature. A bit tricky tho. My constant problem is that CarPlay is in dark mode and will not change according to daylight/night. Very annoying, specially when using Waze during daytime and wearing sunglasses.... will try some of the tricks here, I didn't know about the drop down meny.
Great 👍
@@theinterfacecars I still can’t get out of the dark mode on any map via carplay. Any ideas? And using the wireless charger only over heat the iphone, disconnecting everything. It’s so obvious an adroid car 😹😢
@@missozzie72 This might help -
Open Settings in CarPlay using your vehicle’s built-in controls.
Select Appearance.
Select Always Dark or Light
Can you use that Bluetooth connection to do CarPlay? Or are you wired?
great work
I was thinking with all the cameras on the car imagine if you record to an SD card .... hopefully, there might be a third-party add-on
Thanks for watching, yes that would be an amazing feature! 👍
I have a dolphin in Australia. I am having trouble connecting the wireless CarPlay that was added in the last update. I might need to reboot the infotainment system - so I have read. Anyone know how to do that?
What version software is this running?
Hey, I only had the car for one week - not overly sure what version it is running, sorry.
hello,
i connected my iphone 12 using usb a to iphone charger and nothing happened
Hey, thanks for watching - Did you use the USB-C to USB-A adapter as mentioned in the video?
@@theinterfacecars could you pls send a link to what it looks like?
Here you go - www.apple.com/shop/product/MJ1M2AM/A/usb-c-to-usb-adapter
thank u so much, I think also the car needs a software update which i rly cant do cuz it tells me its checking its current format then nothing happens
@@mahmoudmeneassy6868 I have uploaded a video on how to use the adapter if you are still interested! If you are still having problems with connecting your phone I would recommend contacting your local BYD dealer and they should be able to assist 🙂
