The first time I had this was at my niece' s wedding and I went nuts over it! I've looked for the recipe, but it wasn't quite right. This looks exactly like it!! Thank you!!!
Thank you. This recipe is so very similar to a cheese ball recipe that my best friends father used to make. He also incorporated finely shredded cheddar cheese, and a very small amount of 10X sugar. He also made a great port wine cheese spread. ❤👍
I've been making this for well over 20 years, and everyone really enjoys it. I don't use the green peppers, though, since some people aren't fond of them. Mine is pretty much season salt, pineapple, cream cheese, and minced green onions. If the pineapple isn't sweetened, you may need to add a touch of sugar. The salty of the season salt plays off with the sweet of the pineapple. It does make a difference in how it tastes. I don't use pecans, l just mix it well, chill it, and serve it as a dip with butter type crackers. I didn't bring this to an get together once, and I was just about ousted. Yikes. Enjoy. Skipping the pecans can save you some on the cost, as they have gotten rather pricey.
Please don't tell Alexa to stop the timer. Too funny! My Alexa is listening to you. It's bad enough that you got me in trouble on Thanksgiving when everyone could not stop eating the salted caramel cracker bites before dinner!! 🙈 I warned them! ❤ Thanks for all the great recipes! I'm sure by New Year's day I'll be ready for a diet!
Totally agree with the low-fat cheese products just not turning out correctly. And not always, but most of the time if you read the labels they are higher in sugars. This can show up on labels as increased lactose or increased carbs. To my u derstanding this happens because the process to remove the fats from dairy concentrates the natural milk sugars.

I have this recipe from my mother. She gave it to me when I first got married in 72. I need to make it this yr
If you are making this for use at Christmas, the use of a mix of red and green bell peppers would be so festive and tasty .
I've been making this since the 70s, and it's always been a hit!;
I know I'm gonna love this one! 🍍🫑🧀💚
Love your channel, great recipes, you have a kind and friendly spirit.
What a bout crushed pretzels for the coating if you like for nut allergies
I take this one the same exact way and it is so delicious!!! Thank you!!!
ANY TIME IS A GREAT TIME FOR SOUTHERN COOKING. I WISH I WERE HOME, DOWN SOUTH, ONCE AGAIN.
Would be more flavorful with toasted pecans. Brings out the real delicious flavor in them.
I may try this for Christmas pot luck at work. Thanks!❤😊
Great idea! I’m anxious to try this recipe. Thank you!

Red peppers would be sweeter
The bell pepper is what sets it apart. My favorite cheese ball.
I have made this cheese ball for years. Always asked to bring to family picnic.
Look delicious 😋
Fabulous I have to try this Thank You
Thanks!
Thank you for your support!!! Have a blessed day and a Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 🥰
Yes, spatula gets it all
Ok, another off the top recipe ❤
Yum.
You can add a maraschino cherry on top for decor or a pimento olive.
Looks wonderful 👏
YUM!!❤❤❤THANKS FOR SHARING!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!🎄🎄🎄
This looks delicious! Thank you.
A plastic spatula would be easier to get it all outta the bowl ..

Looks nummy!
Coconut flakes would be good to roll it in too if you can't use nuts
❤looks to good to eat I like the way you present the recipe and your sweet voice
I make a cheeseball that's similar to this but the recipe emphasizes using the sweetened pineapple not the unsweetened.
Yes!!
Prepare ingredients before you begin video
Exactly 🙄
I was thinking for Christmas, you could roll the cheeseball in finely minced ham.
Love recipe but where did you get the basket sticker with fruit?
Does it bother anyone else when cooks do not use a spatula?
Exactly lol
Not at all. Ppl have their own ways of doing thingscso I try not to criticise especially when its not particularly important.
No it only bothers you
@
TRUMP 2024!!! Karen.
Yes, it irritates me because it decreases the amount measured and wastes precious food.
I use a good name brand ,dole and Philly cream cheese
i wonder about adding bacon. maybe i could lower the seasoned salt and add bacon? maybe jalapeno too
What can you substitute for the pepper?
Thanks yummy

For me to make this in would have to use non dairy cream cheese . Can't have dairy or nuts
Do you know what pivot means?
Cheddar Cheese would be great to replace nuts.
Your kitties are darling this looks yummy 😋
I am so glad you pronounce pecans as pee-cans!
It's pe cons lol
A pee-can is what you put under your bed at night. Lol 😂
@@stellabella6839😂😂😂
How do i get the receipt?

If you are asking about her using a spatula. She is using a wooden one.❤
Looks like a spurtle
@ruthiemay423 Yes, I have spurtles and that little one too. ❤
I would put half the nuts in the bowl and press cheese ball in crumb bowl then I would pour the rest of the nuts on top and pat on . Less work.
Funny you didn’t mince the peppers or green onions, but you chopped pecans 🤔
Yum!!
Chicken and a biscuit are best with this
I would rather use off brand cream cheese and name brand pineapple. Theresba big difference in the quality of name brand and store brand
Can you freeze this
I would think not the veggie portion would get mushy making the ball watery
No !! Used what work for you.
Your hands came first
Fresh pineapple.... I'm sorry but your pronunciation and your accent is very difficult to listen to.
