- Today I am making some of my Thanksgiving appetizers
Cheese Ball
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 8oz block cream cheese room temp
2 jalapenos chopped
2 Tbls chopped fresh parsley
1 2.5 oz of bacon pieces
1 Tbls garlic
1 tsp lemon juice
a dash of Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 cup of toasted pecans

I have been making this same cheeseball for over 40 years. I thought I made it up...lol! Recently, I started adding a little onion to it and everyone loves it.

I am going to try this but substitute green onions for jalapeños. My family “can’t take the heat”. LOL

My sister makes a cheese ball for holidays, that for some reason I never seem to get more than a little taste 😏😂 and it is good. But yours looks delicious. Hey from Eastern NC.
I have made one similar to this, but mine does not have chopped jalapenos, but does have chopped onion, chopped green pepper, small jar of chopped pimentos and couple dashes of Tabasco sauce but I usually add extra (probably about 10 or 15 dashes) mix altogether, form into a ball roll in chopped pecans and parsley and enjoy.
