SEA FISHING UK - BUDGET SEA FISHING WITH MY MACKEREL ROD TO CATCH OTHER SPECIES FROM THE SHORE

A challenge for myself for 2024 is to catch a decent fish using a budget £50 mackerel set up!
Hopefully this video will inspire people that have tried summer mackerel fishing to give shore fishing a go and try catch a whole host of other species that inhabit the sea.
You can do this by making a few small tweaks to your mackerel set up as shown in this video

I fished Eastbourne (right in front of the cafe by the rotunda) last friday 26th, 3 hours up & 2 hours down......not a nibble!!! NW to N wind, rain showers, everything but snow & bites!

It's a strange old time that's for sure mate, keep at it langney point offeres deeper water and may be worth a shot :)
Saying that I think may rot is around atm so fishing may be either really good or awful for a week or 2

I had a couple of small Whiting yesterday at Aberystwyth, surprised me that they are still about in West Wales, then again the water is still very cold.
