    I watched a rescue from a log on the weekend. The rescuer only relocated the brood into the box explaining that anything else (pollen pots, honey pots, propolis) will attract pests and kill the hive. I noticed that you relocated more than just brood. Are you concerned about pests or anything else compromising the new hives? Just interested as I’m new to native bees and am learning. Thanks...

    While I am aware that I’m watching a “Rescue” may I ask of all the tools available why do you choose a Knife 🔪?? Shouldn’t it be a tool that is slender enough for the job yet much less sharp than a Knife 🔪? I’m used to using other tools to get job done w/o any risk to my previous Queens.
