I think this kind of makes sense why I met my partner though online friends and had such a hard time with in person dating. I’m not very confident, I don’t have much of a presence, and I space out a lot, especially when I’m in a new place or with someone I don’t know. But when I am with people I know I’m much more comfortable talking and joking and telling stories. Obviously you have to get from A to B somehow, most of our mutual friends are the very loud and excitable type, so it was okay that I was quiet. And come to think of it, we were both kind of the quiet ones. So even if you don’t exhibit some of these traits you can still find someone who is like you that will notice your good qualities :)

In all honesty, it's hard to see anything in my life worth being attracted to. We move a lot and I bargained on making friends as soon as I came to university. But then Lockdown struck, and all of my free time went into online learning. I’m not very confident, I don’t have much of a presence, and I space out a lot, especially when I’m in a new place or with someone I don’t know. But when I am with people I know I’m much more comfortable talking and joking and telling stories. Obviously you have to get from A to B somehow, most of our mutual friends are the very loud and excitable type, so it was okay that I was quiet. And come to think of it, we were both kind of the quiet ones. So even if you don’t exhibit some of these traits you can still find someone who is like you that will notice your good qualities :)

Fake it till you make it, it worked for me. So like when you think negative about yourself, you flip it so that you complement yourself. Ex: "I'm so ugly..." your next thought should be "no I'm not, im beautiful" it will take a while but it works, you just have to actively work for it.

In all honesty, it's hard to see anything in my life worth being attracted to. We move a lot and I bargained on making friends as soon as I came to university. But then Lockdown struck, and all of my free time went into online learning. Though this doesn't really have to do with attraction, I would just like to know what one can do to maybe appreciate their own existence more. Because I feel like nothing I do will ever amount to anything.

Ive never been a sport kind of person but a couple months ago i started doing volleyball and i found out i really liked it and it honestly helped me feel happier with myself and it truly helps a lot.
I felt this though- no joke. Like.. I’ll be honest sometimes I feel hopeful but at the same time, it feels as though finding a relationship or attraction to someone with similar likes as you is far from the tree. Because everyone has their standards and while it’s completely understandable, it hurts so much knowing probably someone would never appreciate chubby girls like me. It’s a reason in this video that personally broke me, especially being overweight is a trait of mine from childhood, I literally feel a loss at hope.
