Nothing changes my mind that the ending, and whole game itself, should have its cutscenes featuring the four of them, and it was totatlly possible to develop their character arcs doing so.
My only complaint would be I think about Superman for .5 seconds everytime I see Bruce especially with the beard , yet I actually came to like the look. All the knight suits are dope
@@stevensilver2880 considering that, canonically, both Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent can swap places without anyone else noticing, i think the superman comment is a plus.
I think Nightwing had the best story and ending. He struggled with being a leader and staying strong the whole game, eventually staying strong for Bruce, who felt so safe it was the only ending where Bruce actively tried fighting Talia with Dick. In all other endings he gets injured by surprise, but in this one he is ready to face off by Dick’s side in a heartbeat, even after life-threatening injury.
it's good when the ending is with nightwing, Bruce seems get stronger, even more focused, like he being there is the thing to bring out Batman again, with all the others he just gets stabbed, but with him he fights back -"I got this one Bruce"- he has his back as always. Jason's was epic, but Nightwing's feels the real one because of Batman's character
I just realized this game is basically TMNT but bat family cover, hell the color scheme is pretty close, Barbra is Donnie, Tim is Mikey, Jason Raph, and Dick is Leo, Batman is splinter, court of owls is the foot, everyone else is just filler.
I've just finished the game with Jason and wanted to see other bat family members ending looked like and I found them to be amazing. While I'm biased towards Red Hood's ending because he's one of my favourite DC character (tbh Bruce, Dick, Tim and Barbara are literally next to him) I really really loved all the other characters ending. But what's better to see is this comment section, it's lovely to see people who are fan of Tim, Dick, Barbara and Jason all coming together and if y'all are still playing reply to me so maybe we can play Hero Assault's together
Nightwing saying that Gotham isn't The Court of Owls's plaything anymore reminds me of something similar from Batman Bad Blood. Black Mask: Gotham's my b*tch. Dick *as Batman* : Which makes you mine.
The thing is people like dent and joker are actually alive in the universe but no where to be found? They might be in jail for next game but who knows but they is alive forsure
@@davidmiller8812 you can't help but wonder though. A Gotham with Joker but without Batman is VERY dangerous. Sure, maybe Joker would retire like he has done in other stories because "crime has no punchline without Batman", but it would be really cool to see it. Also you have to wonder about the other big names. For example, Catwoman being a no show as well is extremely disappointing. We would all want to know how she would react/grieve to the loss of Bruce. Not to mention that she could and should have a very big role to play with the bat family.
I played the ending as Robin and I’m glad I did after watching all 4. I think he had the best character development over the course of the game and he ended up being my favorite.
So wait, you don't even get to do the final mission as the whole group (I mean come on, you can easily control one while the rest can be controlled by AI) as well as the final promise to the city? You have to do it as only one member? Like, the game has KNIGHTS in the title. Not KNIGHT. Their whole shtick is about being a group, about protecting Gotham TOGETHER. Such a bizzare negation of everything the game was supposed to be about, right at the very end.
Talia could’ve went through phases and they force swap you to use different characters each phase. Then they go to cutscene of her getting jumped by the group, then they ALL defend the Lazarus Pit.
I feel like every ending is good. I got Red Hood myself and loved it coming full circle with him having been through the pit himself and now helping Bruce through it. But I feel like every ending has one important and great part that adds to the overall story so the true ending is each and every one of them.
And honestly they could have add more villains like in Arkham knight since Batman is dead I thought the villain would be out of the wood work like in the flash when Barry lost his powers
Robins ending seems like the best. Throughout the game robin feels like he can't live up to batman's legacy and that he isn't good enough. When he has those visions when he's locked up by the court, one of those visions is Bruce dissatisfied by tim. So seeing tim prove he was strong enough to beat Talia as well as save Bruce shows that he has succeeded in surpassing Bruce. Every Gotham knights had doubts about themselves in the game but tim had the most self doubts. Also that ending scene with the broadcast was just amazing. Seeing the shy, nerdy robin look determined and even almost threatening when talking about taking down the court was really cool and his look when he was standing in the gargoyle was badass looking
I was thinking the same thing. She would of brought Bruce back but she wouldn’t of did that to his mind. If anything she would of just used him to get rid of the court 😅
Batgirl's ending resonates the most. It is consistent with Bruce's relationship with Tahlia; he doesn't just angrily attacks her, he protects Batgirl and roars that they were meant to leave Gotham. Batgirl's conversation with Bruce also sounds the most canon and genuine. No sarcasm, no jokes, no crying just straight up imploring him to awaken. Also the reason why he succumbed - that Tahlia told him the Bat family all died - makes the most sense. In many ways, Batgirl also plays as the successor to Batman - the name, the relationship with Jim, her playstyle. Nightwing, Robin, Red Hood are his sidekicks turned disciples; Batgirl is the Bat. But in the final cutscene, all four should have been there. The game forces you to take only one perspective (i.e. you can play different characters, but it always assumes the most recent character completed all tasks) but it would have been better if they say allowed all four to play their part at different story plots.
I agree I feel like with the Dialogue in the game and the ending scene with Batman it felt like she was meant to take his place as the leader. I only play as her and the dialogue fit so perfect there was a part Alfred even said that’s what she was supposed to be felt like game was more base on her relationship with Batman
I just finished the game as nightwing and came here to see the other's finale. Gotta say, each cutscene is sublime, but i loved tim's finale cause of the hug, very relatable.
For me Robin's ending was the best. He was always "the kid" or "the 3rd Robin" but in his final message he sounds like a completely new person, full of confidence and totally badass (plus his costume is just awesome). He really seams as the best hair to Batman.
Warner Bros should do a special edition which allows all four knights to be present. It would be interesting how things would turn out differently if all four were present rather than just one.
Why weren’t they btw? Cuz Ik I wont be able to get a next gen console so I’m jus watching the ending, but why weren’t they all present? Did they all fall out or something?
Nightwing stab scene is different while Batgirl has the longest script with on point Gordon statue scene 👏 Robin got the worst while Jason is most relatable with Bruce's condition.
I think this needs a scene where it has the group stepping out of the shadows in the background when the PC makes the promise and instead of "I", the PC says "We". It would just be a nice little nod to those players that finish the game through co-op (I don't know if co-op is available on bosses)
I don't have a problem with the story, even though its a bit mid. The protege's taking over as the playable characters and all I'm fine with, but the way they did Bruce is hard for me to be ok with. Like they killed the man once and brought him back just for him to die again. Like come on. Batman can't go out like that. I could've accepted him staying dead the first time, or even preferred him coming back alive and staying an npc, but this outcome has me irritated ngl.
It’s opening up a sequel by leaving open the possibility that he’s alive cause we never saw his body the second time. They made sure we saw it the first time to know he was dead. Not the second time. In other words, they chickened out of leaving him dead for certain.
I find anytime the Lazarus lit is involved they bring back whoever they want did with Black Canary on Arrow killed her brought her back, killed her sister then brought her back from another earth. It’s comic books man 😂 DC is known to do it most than marvel I feel.

Ironically Tim and Barbara are not dealing with the same “father figure shitty problems” that Jason or Dick have. Tim wants validation but in a positive way, to help and to try his best for the team and the city. He wants to be a hero in the very true meaning but Jason and Dick still struggles with their ego and own insecurities. This is why Tim is the best Batman “heir”, because to him Robin is only a tool for a greater good, not his identity.
I completed the game with Jason and I didn't think it would be such a good ending. Tim and Dick had great ones too. You see how much they cared for Bruce and I felt Dick's was quite good. Barbara seemed a bit distant as to act like his death never happened which was cute, but I just didn't like it like the others. Jason's seems to be the strongest as he also has strong ties to Talia and he has experienced what Bruce is going through now, though I don't think Jason was submerged multiple times like Bruce was.
Not gonna lie, they screwed up at the end because the entire game is telling you that they're a team, yet the final cutscene shows your chosen character alone
Nightwing was my favorite because of his long history with batman the 1st robin the 1st everything all the ending was good but this was my favorite next to red hood’s emotional one
Dude really put “Father and son” for Tim and Bruce, while he raised Grayson after his parents died in a similar way to his own and he took him in, Tim and Bruce has never really had that real father and son type of dynamic unlike he and Grayson. Thing that messes up with this is that Tim’s parents are still alive in this universe and Tim only really wanted to become Batman’s sidekick while Grayson GREW UP with Bruce and Alfred as basically Bruce’s son and partner in the fight against crime.
I'm kinda made that for the end speech the three "knight" you didn't pick aren't their in the end. There supposed to be working together as a team, I would have been happy if the other three were standing around the speaker. Or if you could see them on other building in that final shot.
Not saying the game bad it looks fun but idk if I wanna pay for this I seen the full game and it’s like I have to do four new games to hear and see all the characters cutscenes instead of switching characters
This seems like a synopsis for an Else-world TV series storyline. It'd be interesting to see how the multiple other heroes tied to the Batman and the bat family would be divided between the four and Alfred. It wouldn't be a Court or Council of Owls, but maybe like a Knights of the round table sort of deal.

@@zackfair6791 What did they do to him? I didn't read the comics much.
@@lunarm4 They made him bisexual...which is at odds with the source material for the character according to former batman, nightwing, and robin writer Chuck Dixon. He says 'The character was never written this way, never conceived this way."

@@zackfair6791 Oh yeah that I knew of already. Yeah i hate characters being changed for that reason as well. Sucks but its the world we live in unfortunately 😕
How do you have Talia as the big bad and not have a post credits scene about Damian Wayne?
How'd that make sense? Did they..... you know. when did that happen?
@@Kid-A2 could say was before the game, in comics Damian was a test tube/r*** baby when Tahlia drugged bruce
GOOD, give my boy Tim a little of spotlight
@@Kid-A2 that and you could have Damien Wayne as the new antagonist for a future dlc or sequel which would be fun since how much Damien is such a brat.
@Brooklyn Bey
Pfft, don't look for consistency in the world of comics.
Batgirl: "Let's keep this professional."
Robin: "Stay with me Bruce!"
Nightwing: "I got this Bruce!"
Red Hood: *sigh* "At it again, Al Ghul?"
Jason is just done 🤣
Jason: "Yeah, yeah, back from the dead, same as me, spare me the tour."
Respect they didnt give Nightwing Red Hood a Batman costume.
Because that wouldn't make sense?
Probably for Red Hood. Though Dick Grayson/Nightwing does end up taking over as Batman in the comics.
@@Austin123. So has Red Hood.
They made it canon a few times and one of them was Dick was tricking people that Batman is still around.
This is a game so it wouldn't be right to have one of them have a batman costume when they all have an identity than taking on the mantel as the bat.
Nothing changes my mind that the ending, and whole game itself, should have its cutscenes featuring the four of them, and it was totatlly possible to develop their character arcs doing so.
If there was any point in the game where they should’ve let 4 players all play together in one mission this was the one
Jason’s has the absolute best ending
I really like the Gotham Knights depiction of Bruce, he seems more human, more emotional
If there was a way The Batman could die, he would definitely go out with a bang that stopped the bad guy's plan

Thing that bugs me is it's murder suicide.
The game began with it.
The game ended with it.
Both times, literally.
I love how red hood even has the bat symbol, and he’s not even a bat vigilante.
Can we take some time to appreciate the make-shift batman gauntlets bruce has on
They aren't makeshift they are from his original outfit he just isn't wearing his entire suit
@@The_MEMEphis most the outfit was destroyed, and the only batman gauntlet from the original suit is in the belfry
Batman's laughing to nightwing joke made me cry alfred is going to kill me if you die again 💔😭😭😭😭😭
I cannot stress enough how amazing the character designs are in this game that is without a doubt my favorite Talia Design that's incredible
@@casualspartan4532 haha that’s kinda true I like that explanation
I think Nightwing had the best story and ending. He struggled with being a leader and staying strong the whole game, eventually staying strong for Bruce, who felt so safe it was the only ending where Bruce actively tried fighting Talia with Dick. In all other endings he gets injured by surprise, but in this one he is ready to face off by Dick’s side in a heartbeat, even after life-threatening injury.
The last war cry of Bruce literally sent chills of vicarious real world issues through my spine. Legacy of the batman fought on to the end.
it's good when the ending is with nightwing, Bruce seems get stronger, even more focused, like he being there is the thing to bring out Batman again, with all the others he just gets stabbed, but with him he fights back -"I got this one Bruce"- he has his back as always.
I think I like Tim's the most, he (or ig his voice actor) shows the most emotion out of all of them
Plus the fact how you can tell he's angry and dosen't speak when fighting Talia
Wow Jason’s change from little brat as Robin, to psychotic Murderer and now an amizing hero is just fantastic
For a game and story about teamwork, these are the most single individual bossfight/endings I've seen.
Where's the group version?
It was dropped
they ate taco bell and had bathroom breaks
26:21 even in his final moments Bruce still has the steely eyes of Batman.
I like how Tim’s voice is a lil squeaky, he’s just a baby lol. It makes it all the more heartbreaking too when he watches Bruce get killed again too
I've just finished the game with Jason and wanted to see other bat family members ending looked like and I found them to be amazing.
Should have had Bruce Wayne's last line be "... Because I'm Batman!!!"
Fking missed opportunity
Then wouldn’t have died
this wasnt the real batman, so he couldnt say that
I really wanted Dent in this game. Batman's former ally going against his new ones. So much potential
The thing is people like dent and joker are actually alive in the universe but no where to be found? They might be in jail for next game but who knows but they is alive forsure
@@Inspoto I'm fine with Joker not in the game but still
@David Miller maybe a dlc 🤔
@@nxni1 possibly
@@davidmiller8812 you can't help but wonder though. A Gotham with Joker but without Batman is VERY dangerous. Sure, maybe Joker would retire like he has done in other stories because "crime has no punchline without Batman", but it would be really cool to see it. Also you have to wonder about the other big names. For example, Catwoman being a no show as well is extremely disappointing. We would all want to know how she would react/grieve to the loss of Bruce. Not to mention that she could and should have a very big role to play with the bat family.
anyone else notice that Bruce gets cut in different ways depending on the character you play as?
only as Nightwing is different, Bruce get slashed, the other get stabbed in the same place
@@ad0339 Nightwing is meant to be the team leader so he probably got a special ending.
In Redhood's, Robin's, and Batgirl's ending Bruce was stabbed in the back. While in Nightwing's ending Bruce was sliced twice.
I played the ending as Robin and I’m glad I did after watching all 4. I think he had the best character development over the course of the game and he ended up being my favorite.
I like how Jason is the only 1 to get more than 1 hit on Talia in the cutscene. Everyone else got 1 while he got 3.
I love how Barbara was ready to kick Batman’s ass if he didn’t stay down lmao
I don't know but the Nightwing ending just seems more canon to me than the others.
Yeah 99% of the time the most unique is the canon
Yeah it really does
And it feels like he's Batman's successor but he does it in his own unique way since it feels rather inspirational
@@MCFM88 Probably wouldn't work since most people would only really focus on 1 or 2 characters throughout the game
its more like "nights" because it always happens to be nightime
I feel like every ending is good. I got Red Hood myself and loved it coming full circle with him having been through the pit himself and now helping Bruce through it. But I feel like every ending has one important and great part that adds to the overall story so the true ending is each and every one of them.
The Bruce fight seems more good for the Red Hood Arc but the Batgirl ending is the nicest
Batman won’t kill the Joker but he will kill himself
number of killers still the same lol
Why did they make Talia a freaking psycho he's always had a balance of being an assassin and going to the end of the Earth for the people she loves
Talia is not a "Balance" character since she kill Damián in a story run. DC Really is pushing the idea of Talia as Big Neurotic Villan since 2015
That's why I've always hated The New 52 everything in the new 52 so jacked up the continuity and the characters
Talia had her moments of being evil Also.🤷🏾
@@kylepinkston7861 Yeah, agreed; Talia's characterization pre-2015ish was far better than the push to have her almost be a worse Ra's lmao
I was thinking the same thing. She would of brought Bruce back but she wouldn’t of did that to his mind. If anything she would of just used him to get rid of the court 😅
Unmasked nightwing looks like Robert pattinson from the Batman movie
The emotions displayed by the voice actor of Jason's character is phenomenal ✨
Tim’s felt like he has a deep vendetta against the court of owls he seems really angry almost sounding like the caped crusader himself
Also that hug got me in tears man
Warner Bros should do a special edition which allows all four knights to be present. It would be interesting how things would turn out differently if all four were present rather than just one.
Why weren’t they btw? Cuz Ik I wont be able to get a next gen console so I’m jus watching the ending, but why weren’t they all present? Did they all fall out or something?
@@bxxgeyman8558 It's just based on who you play as during the final mission. Nothing to do with actual lore or anything.
Nightwing stab scene is different while Batgirl has the longest script with on point Gordon statue scene 👏 Robin got the worst while Jason is most relatable with Bruce's condition.
Gotta admit red hood ending took the win for this he left a strong impact especially what he has been through he deserved the win for this 👌🔥
No matter what character you choose, I bet Superman and Wonder Woman would be proud of each and every one of them.
I think this needs a scene where it has the group stepping out of the shadows in the background when the PC makes the promise and instead of "I", the PC says "We".
It would just be a nice little nod to those players that finish the game through co-op (I don't know if co-op is available on bosses)
Batman saying what he was truly afraid of always hits me. It makes me want to be better.
Jasons turn to the hood side is crazy good
Can't wait to see them as halloween costumes
Thank you for this. All I could find was the ending of Red Hood all over YT, I got sick of finding them. I wanted to see the others.
They easily could’ve kept him alive and retired his role as Batman
@@erinclarke2695 Nothing but bs if you ask me.

I think Tim's ending is the best because by the end it feels like him truly becoming Bruce's successor
I must say Batgirls costume is good, like damn good good
I completed the game with Jason and I didn't think it would be such a good ending.
Even if the Batman is gone Gotham will never fall or die, incluing the kinights who protects it.
Everyone’s costume on point and then batgirl got some high ponytail costume.
Jason = vengeance and anger
Tim = Father and son
Dick = Batman and robin
Swap Tim and Dick. Nightwing has always been Batmans son.
@@ajet0452 Mamad.H : “no, i don’t think I will”
Dude really put “Father and son” for Tim and Bruce, while he raised Grayson after his parents died in a similar way to his own and he took him in, Tim and Bruce has never really had that real father and son type of dynamic unlike he and Grayson. Thing that messes up with this is that Tim’s parents are still alive in this universe and Tim only really wanted to become Batman’s sidekick while Grayson GREW UP with Bruce and Alfred as basically Bruce’s son and partner in the fight against crime.
Jason and Tim are my favorites. Great voice acting.
