Soooo much valuable information in this video. Been watching your videos the past couple days and you have a great amount of information, hope your channel gets the recognition it deserves!
my fav channel fr and i dont even have a zn6 yet lmao, nonetheless its such a good channel to watch, proper content, honest straight to the point stuff, reminds me of the good old days of youtube
My question… pedal dance, track box, or pull the fuse? And why? I know you say just pull the fuse in one of your older videos, but I recently came across track box while digging around online. I plan on daily driving the car most of next summer but also plan on attending some drift events around the mid-west. Appreciate the videos and thanks for the info!!
Hmmmm I have the gktech kit and Megan inners and I have never gotten an alignment I just eye balled it lmao it feels good when drifting and doing figure 8s but I am no expert and the steering control box intrigues me
I think you should give it a shot! only $50 and everyone I know speaks really highly of it. I would get a proper alignment too if you have a good race shop around you!
Does anyone know if the PBM angle kit makes your OEM traction control unusable? I read that on a forum but not sure the accuracy. I want the PBM angle kit but still want to drive the car on the street as well... and I've had a few moments where the Trac Control really saved my rear end haha so ideally, I want to keep it.
@@Nick_Ramirez update: I got the GKTech kit and it works AMAZING. Got the v3 kit, so looks like it has been strengthened and lower chance of breaking tabs. Check out my drift video at AVS if anyone wants to see how it works😁 also, re traction control, with the angle kit, you can drive with the TC is sport/off, but it won't allow you to drive with TC on (it drags rear brakes on almost any turn)
I wonder if they are sold out. They used to be super simple to find. Those mf owe me a bag I really should have put an amazon affiliate link in my bio or something hahaha.
Yes! I will go see it in person at Tokyo Auto Salon next weekend and upload a video about it:) Nomuken san said that is not the final product but I am liking the direction they are going in for sure.
if u wanna drift your 86 just wanna say id recommend against boosting it or at least keep the boost down. im sitting around 330whp and i blew my diff and rear axles with 50k miles on them just practicing figure 8s
@@Nick_Ramirez i feel u but maaan, really thinking getting a clapped 350z and sliding that instead is going to be less fragile and less expensive long term. engine swap alone on a 17' brz is gonna run about the cost of a used Z

Im wondering if he had any rubbing issues with the gk tech kit, been seeing alot on reviews and forums on that issue. Sofar having a 25mm or 30mm spacer fixes it depending what wheel spec u run ofc.
I believe he does run spacers for better fitment and that must also help with any potential rubbing. I am doing another video with him next week and will ask him for you!
Can anyone tell me how to keep my front sway bar links from hitting inner walls? at full lock and especially when on a pivot. (Everything is adjustable, and have white line sway bar/endlinks all around as well as Megan racing lca, p2m inner an outer tie rods, for now soloeworks coilovers, also not even running more than -1 camber)
I always found it jus by googling GT86 or BRZ power steering controller. It should be a little black box with a twistable knob/dial thing to adjust power steering,

Last bit of knowledge, I could chime in with, is dont be scared to mess up or crash. Its part of drifting, go and have fun!!
Make sure you can at least afford to crash hahaha but yea definitely.
yeah i def plan on not crashing thats why ive been doing hella hours on sim and a lil bit in snow gt86 is not a cheap car, 40kcad brand new
