So instead of looking at someone or someons who is visibly "different" from them" as thinking and feeling humans like you are doing, these surface thinkers focus only on themselves and things that they'll never get answers to. It doesn't occur to them that these women are still women, and just because they choose to share their story in the hopes that it will help others, doesn't mean they shouldn't be respected. I'm not a conjoined twin, and I will never claim to know what others are feeling and how they experience life. But difference isn't foreign to me; I'm blind and in my case, that is obvious when someone meets me because my eyes don't track. So I'm used to a lot of very personal and super invasive questions, to which my answer calmly is: "That's for me to know and for you to never find out. I'm really not being facetious here, when I say that a relationship like this takes a lot more than maturity; I mean I can think of several ways this relationship could be handled, but none are really great. I guess the "best" way is if he was "married" to "both of them". I genuinely do not think it's awkward at all most likely. We might think it's awkward because we've only ever experienced living in our own body, but these twins have shared a body since conception. They share everything from the waist down. They poop together, they pee together, and I'm sure they've had "urges" just like the rest of us, and they've had to navigate that together, probably far before they met this guy. It's only awkward to us because we've never experienced this, but I doubt that it's awkward for them.

Having watched various programs about them over the years, its amazing how “normal” their lives have actually been. Probably helps that they grew up in a small town and went to a school where everyone knew them and their family from Day One, so they weren’t a constant sideshow in their day-to-day lives. They really seem to have had great support overall from their family and community over the years.

You should watch some of the videos of them from years past and you will change your outlook. At first I couldn’t believe my eyes or imagine their lives but now I really see them as two people with incredible personalities and the most positive take on life and living imaginable. I wouldn't expect these women to be able to reproduce due to the unfortunate circumstances of their not typical reproductive system.

I wish they would do an interview some time in the future to dispel all the myths and gossip around this, and give their true experiences. This would help the world understand different ways of being and living better without just pure curious speculation filling in the blanks. Not that’s it’s their responsibility to do so, but as public figures with extremely rare conditions it would be extremely informative for the public to understand.

The twins have successfully navigated their lives and achieved more than many. They learnt to ride a bike, then later earned their driver's licence. They studied to be teachers, and have a teaching position. They're happy and successful. Take your imagination, and judgement, and crawl away from the comments. They're happy, and deservedly so.

Forgive me for being cynical but I just don’t believe this man can be a decent person to have a genuine relationship under these circumstances. However, I do wish them well and truly hope they are happy.
My thoughts exactly, there is no way he is mentally healthy to be able to cognitively handle that type of relationship. I feel bad for the kids they are bringing into the world. Everyone is going to need extensive therapy.
Having watched various programs about them over the years, its amazing how “normal” their lives have actually been. Probably helps that they grew up in a small town and went to a school where everyone knew them and their family from Day One, so they weren’t a constant sideshow in their day-to-day lives. They really seem to have had great support overall from their family and community over the years.

You should watch some of the videos of them from years past and you will change your outlook. At first I couldn’t believe my eyes or imagine their lives but now I really see them as two people with incredible personalities and the most positive take on life and living imaginable. They like their fate. There are aspects to their lives that are even enviable. Honestly, take a look.
