A Visit to Fossil Fest: A Huge Fossil and Mineral Show!

Here I take a walk through Fossil Fest, the annual fossil, rock and gem show put on by the Tampa Bay Fossil Club. The variety of things for sale is amazing. Naturally I had to buy a few odds & ends. Check it out.

Hi Mike, Glad the show was good for the club! When you said there was one more special rock - I knew you got the Wavelite! Super happy it will be enjoyed & displayed! The pair of Kentucky Agates is real nice! Interesting Mexican Geode half and the Dugway geode with Calcite from Utah is nice, too. Put the Dugway under UV - it will glow green. Be extra careful tumbling the Labradorite! Start it out in medium grit. And don't cut the Labradorite too thin for cabs...we'll talk. Great video! Thumbs up! Have a great day! Jim

Some really nice things there. May have to see about going in the next year or two. If I'm not careful, I might have to rent a truck to get everything home! Looking forward to seeing how your Nebraska trip turns out.
