Hi friend 👍. Watching from Yorkshire in the 🇬🇧. Beautiful arrow head displays. Great concept, I was able to pause the video and read all of the information, I got to have a real good close up look at some amazing pieces, so thank you 🙏. Liked and subscribed👍
Thanks mate! It's One reason I make videos It's not for me It's for everyone to see. I'm glad you were able to pause to see I tried to hurry and make it as short as possible and at the same time showing them clearly!
they are all across canada lots in protected sites and parks but do not take them, but you still have a chance in fields with permission and just walking creeks and rivers you can get some
No problem. It's all for you it doesn't hurt to take just a few minutes to let some that can't get out to see one as it they were there as well. As long as you were able to pause and take a better look is all that matters.
Did you get any comments on your water find, did you ever find any other Indian artifacts in the water or near for evidence? Indiana hunter also many years ago now just look for gold!
No I didn't. Just the same but this time it wasn't so exciting!. And no I haven't been back there yet it got cold and last summer I got busy doing other stuff.
Was wondering if you can help me. My mom has three pieces of American Indian pottery. Her and her parents took a trip from Michigan to Arizona in I think the 1930s or 40s and bought these pieces from an old Indian woman selling these on the side of the road. That's pretty much all she remembers. After she dies she said she would like me and my brothers to return them to the area where they were from and donate them to an Indian museum. Do you have any suggestions on how to tell the painting style that's on them? They are all made of clay. Two are what I would describe as drinking cups and one is what I would describe as a small watering pot with a handle and two openings (spouts) on each side. Any help on my next step to try tracking information down about these would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
im in canda and thats like a holy grail your 3-5 dollar arrowheads are just as neat but they are tossed in a basket like they are fakes? thanks for showing those treasures and displays
These are not sacred items. They are common items used in day to day living. Even if an object can be identified as a grave good, all context has been lost. I'm sympathetic to respecting native culture but these objects have all lost their identity due to time.
The tribes that had artifacts such as these haven’t existed in thousands of years. The tribes that we know of had lost the skill of napping skillfully and used crude triangles and metal arrowheads. These are from prehistoric people who are irrelevant to the “tribes” and they have no claim on them.
Some peoples world view look at the Indigenous Artifacts and want to gain these collections, others like myself have an indigenous perspective and look at all these items as sacred. The culture of indigenous people are not a collection. This is actually so sad to see this as a hobbie carry out in families and generations. Culture is not for sale. In 2024 its sad to see these folks have not evolved in their thinking.
Omg again! Umm the video has a pause button. I didn't want to make an hour long video and thought people would have common sense to pause the video instead of leaving a bad comment!
Wonderful exhibition. Thanks for sharing. What gorgeous artifacts.
It's always great to see what can be found locally!
Wow....what an amazing collection to see in on place. Loved it!
It really is this was my second show. And it's amazing what ull see

Right! Just one is badass!
Oh, the stories. I would love to attend a show like that. I'm in Toronto,🇨🇦 I'll have to look it up, if we have such events.
I don't know how far up north they went I'm sure there was some
@@diggingindiana1464 I actually found a large arrowhead walking through a farmers field, when I was eleven years old. Southern Ontario. It was big.

Because they are modern made
Something so fascinating in my own state. Is this an annual show?
Yes it is and there's others as well!
Very beautiful but when I see so many of the same material on one table case after case makes me wonder
Yeah it's all over where it's made that's how we can tell who and where they were made!
Thanks, but you go far too quickly for us to see everything.
Omg it's called pause and look then continue!! It's not that hard!
That Cumberland for $1000 :O I'd be very tempted but almost looks too good to be legit
I'll have to go take a better look.
These artifacts should be returned to Tribes.
If they wanted them that bad I'm sure there would be a law on having them.

@@diggingindiana1464 You don't get it do you. We leave them in the ground to rest for many reasons.
I've been hunting artifacts since I'm 16 years old I'm 65 and I know a lot about them I see a lot of fakes things on this video
Probably.🤷♂️ it does make you wonder sometimes
way too fast to see anything
It's was made for you the pause then look if you want to take a better look! I didn't want my video to be an hour long. 🤦♂️
